Hey JxJxA, it may be worth it to double check the rules, but I'm pretty sure that watcher spirits aren't actually connected enough to their summoners to alert them when they pop?

They have the same mental link as with other spirts, so wouldn't that notify the summoner?

I think Fenris is remembering the previous edition where they did not have the same connection to their summoner as summoned and bound spirits did.

Okay, I'm sorry now I'm confused. Do you mean a lower Force/Magic combination than my Fire Spirit? I don't have any Watchers out.

For spirits, Force and Magic are equal. One of the things astral Assensing will tell you is whether the targets Magic (for spirits that's also Force) is below, equal, or above your own Magic. It's a good general gauge for how powerful the spirit is, since all of it's stats will be based on Force + some modifier for physical, straight Force for astral.

You assensed the watcher spirits - the small spirits in the astral and determined the astral signature of the mage who summoned them and that their Force is lower than your Magic. Does that help? If still confused we can talk tomorrow night.

Fallen off the end of the list by my reckoning (Init 9, 1 pass). Mystery dudes are scarily fast.
@Buddha: note that
all of Eklipse's adept abilities are currently active:
Cloak: -1 dice to be detected by active detection spells
Combat Sense: +1 die to reaction on surprise, melee and ranged defence
Counterstrike: 1+net hits on parry/block dice to next melee attack
Critical Strike: +1 DV unarmed attacks
Enhanced Perception: +1 die on perception tests
Great Leap : +1 die on jumping tests
Improved Reflexes I: +1 reaction, +1 initiative pass
Killing Hands: inflict physical damage with unarmed attacks
Traceless Walk: -4 dice to hearing perception tests to be detected

  Ok, post is up.
Amara materialized (giving her a hardened armor rating of 12 through Immunity to Normal Weapons) and moved her flight speed. The arc is just flavor and not a weapon inspired from
El Shaddai. Ever since I read about it, I have had that game on my mind and I thought that an arc would make for a cool medium to make elemental and unarmed attacks.

Hey, just want to make sure I'm not missing something - I think that Fat Man didn't see anything that looked hostile, but does see the container and the really bad astral signatures around it. He just saw Amara materialize suddenly, which would alert him that something is happening. Am I correct or did I overlook something?

I believe the group is going to do a quick assault on the lab since watcher spirits are present and makes a complete stealth approach more difficult - either way the fire spirit has called for the smack down.

Fenris - you can hear some sort of movement inside though it is difficult to make out any distinct details. You hear a great deal of high frequency noise you usually associate with high tech gear or machines. In addition, you can smell more individual scents here - a high traffic area at the cargo container door. People have been coming and going from here.
Fyndhal - welcome back and welcome to your new home!

Also can I get everyone to describe where they are standing or positioned outside the cargo container? Without a table top map or markers I want to make sure we all think the same thing about where your character is.

Okay, Zerone is with the rest of the non-stealthy group x meters behind point (I can't find the number in the threads, so I'll be wherever that is. Amara is 30 meters up and 10 meters north of Zerone (still within line of sight) so that she is not directly under the group. I was thinking of having her serve as a distraction for the strike.
