Enhanced Articulation doesn't actually boost Pistols since it's a Combat skill, not a Physical skill (this gets a lot of people - apparently in SR3 it did).

I'm really sorry, I'm slowly getting the hang of the rules by playing pbp but I sometimes forget them a few days after learning them. I list them out so everybody can see where I'm getting my numbers, and if you need to yell at me for forgetting something. x_x

Actually, you messed up against yourself

While Wound penalties actually reduce both your Initiative roll and your Initiative score, they are a special exception: Sustaining penalties reduce your Initiative roll (because they apply to everything but damage resistance and drain resistance), but they don't reduce your final score. So your initiative stat is 7, but you only roll 5 dice (because of the sustaining), however, you add the results of the 5 dice to 7 (because your actual initiative stat is still 7). So you should be 9/2 not 7/2.

I saw the word "test" in the sustain penalty part of the book, and figured that affected initiative tests as well. I really appreciate the info. ^_^ Editing my above post.

No, it DOES affect Initiative tests, it just doesn't affect your initiative statistic. That's why you're rolling 5 dice, but adding the hits to a base of 7.

If you last command to the spirit would cover that like search out the area and subdue any you find would cover it. Otherwise you would need to command the spirit to do it though I wouldn't have it cost a service - that seems a bit much to me.

Ok, so complex action to dematerialize and a free action to fly into the room where we thought Emilio was. I figured it would be better to have the fire spirit announce me rather than have Zerone open the door and get socked in the face by a very frightened Emilio.

Cypher is a sallow-skinned Ork with an obvious data jack embedded on his forearm. Average height and build, with black hair that is a few weeks past needing a haircut. He has a sunken faced look from recent malnutrition that hasn't taken a permanent toll on his body yet.
At the moment, he's wearing an urban explorer jumpsuit with helmet, small backpack, and has a Predator in a shoulder holster.

Fat Man is a short, barrel-shaped, long-armed Asian man of indeterminate age. He has thick pale-blonde-white hair, beard, and mustache, except for some black patches around his upper cheeks. He's currently wearing a neo-Victorian-esque outfit, and carrying a riot shield in one hand and a staff in the other.

Breeze is currently in scrubs, but there are obvious tattoos going up and down both his arms of various random images (guns, knives, anarchy symbol, punk rock band names) and even though the scrubs are covering them up, some portion of the art can be seen on his chest, for the more perceptive of the bunch you can see various piercings, in his nose, lip and ears (though currently the earnings aren't there due to being in the clinic).
He has a buzz cut hair which is fading from what ever color it once had and is of medium size and build.

Eklipse has the tall, slim frame characteristic to most elves. His dark blue fur marks him as a night one, although this is currently concealed beneath a suit of form-fitting armor and a hitech biker helm. Grenades and spare clips are hooked to the integrated webbing in his armor and the pommel of a katana over his left shoulder marks him as right-handed. His right hand holds a silenced submachine gun and he would appear rather menacing if he wasn't currently leaning against the wall with his outstretched left hand to keep himself steady.

Zerone is a skinny male elf with longish brown hair, pale skin, blue eyes, and a friendly, non-threatening face.
Think Father Abel from Trinity Blood. He's dressed in what looks a little like a
priest's black coat or Neo's outfit in The Matrix Reloaded over form-fitting body armor.

Base books suggests that with 2 hits I can understand "complex subjects" so I probably understood you, if I googled the translation correctly you said "Hands up!"
