It's been a while since I've played and I have several of the books from SR2 (I think I have my old SR1 main book somewhere) up through SR4.

Would like to get into a gaming group that's reasonably local (60 minutes or less away).

Don't really have a preference for version of SR as 2 ,3, & 4 all have their good and bad points (though I am most familiar with SR2 & SR3).

Anyone out there need another player in my area?

Bah, too bad I don't live down there anymore, I'd gladly join you. I'm up in Rockingham County now.

Have you checked Campaign Headquarters near Little Creek and Granby? I was playing a pretty decent D&D 3.5 game back when I lived down there.

I live 5 streets away from CHQ. smile.gif

I stopped by there a few days ago and found two cards from players on the bulletin board who were wanting to play SR. I've got to contact those folks yet.

The bad part is, they want to play. Not run. I too want to play vice running. But if it comes down to it, I'll break down and run the games.

According to the guy who was working there, there used to be a significant group of folks who played SR up until a few months ago.

Run a game.

I've not done it myself, but I have exactly ONE player right now..... biggrin.gif

Yeah, I suspect that if I'm going to get any SR action, I'll have to run a game. I've been giving some thought to it anyways. I may as well see about the whole Commando thing and running SR Missions from the very beginning.

Once things calm down (given that I just had a car accident earlier this week along with being busy with SCA activities), I'll put some effort into forming a SR group.

You are welcome to join in if you want to make the trek down to CHQ (which is probably where I'd hold the games as I don't have a big enough room in my house to do it).
