http://www.pinknews.co.uk/2014/03/17/us-sc...ittle-pony-bag/I like how the school mentioned it takes bullying seriously, but nothing is actually said about what they were doing with said bullies.
If it's anything like the schools I went to, something approximately between jack and shit.
It's funny, really; schools are basically laws unto themselves, with neither judicial redress nor legal counsel of
any use whatsoever in regards to the decisions a school makes. Yet, whenever you complain of bullying, it was "We didn't see anything, therefor we can't do anything about it."
And it's funny how they never manage to see bullies attacking a target, but they always manage to see the target's retaliation. Or hear the target screaming for help and label them an attention-seeker, or disruption.
I was going to say it, but the mother quoted in the story said it first: forbidding the victim from wearing his Rainbow Dash backpack because it makes him a target for bullies is like telling girls they have to wear burquas because otherwise boys will be enflamed by the sight of their bare skin and decide to rape them.
Every dumb motherfucker responsible for this decision should be sacked and blacklisted, and some actual goddamned administrators brought in to clamp down on these bullies.
