First of all, if this is in the wrong forum then I apologize, I'm new here and I don't know my way around.
Anyway, I downloaded Chummer a few months ago because I was completely new to the game and I wanted a nice crutch to help myself learn the system. I think Chummer is a fantastic tool and hasn't given me a single hiccup until now. After some months of use, for some reason Chummer simply won't start for me. I'm using Windows 7 and I've tried downloading it again but it never runs. I double click the .exe and my cursor flashes the blue "thinking" wheel and then it stops a split second later without opening at all. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the framework again and again but to no avail. Can anyone help?

I've run into a similar problem. Immediately after Chummer updates, my antivirus program sees it as a questionable program and quarantines it. I tell my AV program to ignore Chummer and it starts working just fine.

I've tried disabling my antivirus program and running Chummer but there's no change for me.

could try right click on the icon and goto properties, try compatibility mode and run as administrator.
other than that, I haven't had an issue on win& unless I'm a version behind or so

I just tried that, but no dice.
