Full Version: Halloween Run Villain

Finally got a local group together to play SR4 and with Halloween around the corner I figured why not do a themed run against a vampire and his minions in the Puyallup barrens. The party are a couple elves and jaguar shifter so I figured hey why not run out of Tarislar, so in keeping with that my vampire is a banshee mage who's been feeding off the locals and steadily building a mob of ghoul cronies.

I just wanted to know if this guy is mean enough or should I crank it up some more. My players are all new to the game and I've only ran a handful of SR games myself.

..Banshee's essence is 5 so max magic is dropped to 5.. (unless initiated)
..couple questions..
..how do u play ghoul's infection power? before or after errata..
..any shamans/mages in player's character's party..
do they know it is banshee..( if they do, BBEG is toast )(couple Drones w/ machine gun, silver bullets..)
..if that Jaguar Shifter is Physical Adept w/ killing hands (and buffed)..BBEG is toast (shifters are immune to infection power..)
..for new players, i think it would be a challenge..if players are mowing through wo/ difficulty, add more minions (maybe ghoul boss)
tisoz
Fear Power used to be effective.

Are any of the PCs magical? If not, then this is tough enough. Influence and Control Actions can turn the PCs against one another. Summon a spirit to aid.

Jaguar shifter goes for melee and gets levitated. If in jaguar form, keep levitating higher and higher, creating a de facto deadman's switch. If the other PCs harm the banshee, the banshee drops the shifter and they get to see if the big cat lands on its feet. In all likelihood, the other PCs DO harm the banshee, figuring the shifter will regenerate.
