I remember that movie.
It was so horrible bad and campy, i could not help but love it ^^

Also, rumors have it one of the bigger hollywood studios may be sitting on the Battletech IP and thinking about doing something with it.
And with todays CGI, it could be pretty good as well.

I'm sure it will look great. Hollywood's story-writing abilities are bad enough that you will wish you got Major Adam Steiner's adventures again.

Could be worse.
As long as they do not produce only half a series again <.<
