Hey i'm new to Shadowrun, still not sure if i'm interested on spending the 30$ for it but it has definatly caught my eye! If anyone down here in Ga. would like to show a newbie around setting and whatnot, i'd be very greatful.

Gameing Experiance, RPG: Dream Pod 9 games (Tribe 8, Heavy Gear), Big Eyes-Small Mouth, Palladium (TMNT, Robotech, Rifts, Fantasy), Elric, Gemini-by Cell Entertainment, and Wraith: The Oblivion...
Miniature Experiance: CONFRONTATION, Vor, Chronopia, Z-G, and maybe Shadowrun Duels
Card Games: Post-WotC Pokemon, Magi-Nation, Z-G, L5R

I've been playing sinse I was 9, 23 now. I have experiance in both weaving and playing and am willing to do both, especialy after I lern the system. I've had a burst of ideas for Shadowrun, but I still need to learn the setting and make sure they fit alright.

Anyway, I live in North Ga.. Near the Mall of Ga., Lawrenceville. I'm up at the War Room pretty much every weekend. I'm the guy with the large bull ring in my nose in case any of you notice me.

Thanks...

Well, I got Shadowrun, as well as the Shadowrun Companion! Everything is going well. Even got a small group comprised of my gal, my brother, a friend of mine and myself.
If anyone else is interested in joining us or has a game that I could hop in on, just drop a message!

More down Atlanta way and trying to kick the habit, but I've been in the War Room periodically.

Cheers,

So does that mean your not going to be playing much these days Siege?
Siege
Not really -- I'm trying to get a life, etc. etc. etc. (The perception being, I didn't have a life while I was gaming and I was hiding behind dice, etc.)

But if you want, I can put you in touch with some gamers I know in Dunwoody.

I am looking for players for a ShadowRun 3 campaign. I live in the Marietta/Kenensaw/Acworth area and would be playing Sunday afternoons. Let me know if you are interested.

I am looking for people that like to roleplay and run around and just kill things. Although killing things will be part of the game. I am looking for mature people with their own transportation and are reliable. No 3l33t h@x0rs need to apply.

thanks

Ah man, dang. Any chance you could switch to a different day? I've got a D&D game on Sunday already.

Hey, gamers in the Atlanta, Marietta area:
3rd Wednesday of the month at Barnes and Noble on Barret Parkway next to publix, RPG discussion group. Starts at 7 pm till 9 or so.

All RPG welcome, new to RPG's welcome also.

Just ask the cashier or other employee where to find the area.

If it's not too far, why not try and hook up with the gaming club at UGA? I spent the summer there and I attended some meetings when the semester cranked up. Tyche's Games in Athens is also none to shabby.

Don

PS. Is anyone planning a trip to Tifton, GA anytime soon?
