Hey All, I'm moving my website to my .mac account, at:
http://homepage.mac.com/sweeneycolors67/index.html
I'm going to be on the other side of Canada where I won't be able to update this site since I won't be directly on Shaw Cable's net. So I moved it, and I will be updating it by the end of the weekend.
There will be a new version of the Firearm Designer - mainly Drag and Drop is now enabled, you can have multiple windows open (Different firearm for each window), and double clicking a saved firearm doc now launches the program with the document opened (Before it only launched the program without opening the doc).
I also have another program ready for bugtesting, the Backpack - It's just a simple program - you enter in all your characters's gear, and corresponding weights. Tick the little checkboxes to indicate which items you're carrying, and it automatically calculates to total weight.
The Backpack also calculates weights for guns, including clips and ammo. Guns are set up in a different window. You just name the gun, how many clips (if applicable), how much each clip carries, and what kind of ammo you have stored in each clip.
Backpack also keeps track of ammo used. Double click the gun, check the fire mode, and hit the fire button. Ammo is automatically subtracted from the selected clip, and it changes the weight of the gun/clip set automatically.
I'll be adding in more features to this, specifically: a way to set up individual collections of gear for different types of runs (i.e. what you'd carry going to a meet, or what you'd take on a two-week assault mission in the Barrens). The second feature will be a way to print each list, as either Carried Gear (what you checked off), or All Gear (sorted by Carried, and what's left behind.)
And yes, I'm still working on the GMing prog. Backpack was a quick little program that made my life easier as a player.
