Hoi there chummers. An idea I had a while back finally bore fruit. Some of you may remember a short story I posted here, A Very Long Night.

It was something I had spent a few months on and had hoped for it to get onto the main site. Alas it was not to be. But I really liked the main character and I didn't want to see her die such a ignominious death.

So a few months ago, as the blog craze came into being I got the idea of blogging the life of a Shadowrunner. Well since Crow didn't have a gig (so to speak) at the moment I decided she was the one.

Feel free to comment in shadow talk form.

So, without further ado....

Nice description of a bread and butter run gone wrong. You'll see that I've already responded wink.gif

Actually, as a writer myself, this is an interesting format for a work of fiction. I could see a book written as a series of blog entries - I know there's been one written as a series of e-mails exchanged between the various characters, can't remember the name off the top of my head. And of course, the original Salem's Lot short story by Stephen King was a series of letters.

Funny, I've seen that style somewhere beforewink.gif

Well, Bram Stoker's novel Dracula might be traced as one of the oldest examples of the "novel by post" school (it's mostly letters, 'newspaper clippings,' etc.) Kind of fits with the SR theme, too.... or was that the other way around...

Not the exciting response I was hoping for. Well I'll keep posting every couple of days and we'll see what happens.

Reading now...responding later. smile.gif

It looked like a work in progress, so I'm keeping my comments 'till it's finished (or until something pops up). It'd be a rather on the risky side to actually make a public blog in-game, but that doesn't have to make it any less entertaining to read.

NIce, but too short (at least for now wink.gif). I'm hoping you'll be making semi-regular additions. smile.gif
