The Spell Checker does seem to be FUBAR, but your second post in this thread lists your edit as 1 munite past your original posting time, which doesn't seem broken.
Edit: Just checking ....

It doesn't seem to be consistant, but I could tell when Arethusa had edited becasue the thread turned blue again despite my just having read it...
