When I send a PM it takes a long time then gives a mail sending error. The PM goes through ( I think) but one is tempted to send it again.

Same thing with some posts, it is taking a long time, then errors, resulting in people posting twice.

This problem should be solved now. Thanks for letting us know about it.

Although it's happening again now ... although I suspect you've already noticed that

Grumble, grumble. The mail server wasn't set to start on boot and when I rebooted the server yesterday I missed it. We should be all set now and for future reboots.
