I get paid tomorrow, and I was thinking about sloping on down to my FLGS and picking up a couple of SR4 books. What are the core books, aside from the BBB (which I already have)? I know Augmentation covers cyber-, bio-, and nanoware (and other things?), Arsenal covers gear, and Street Magic (is that the one for SR4?) is the complete magic book. Is Unwired the new complete tech (hacking/rigging/etc.) book?

On a semirelated note, do we have a street date yet for SR4A? I plunked down my $80 (including shipping), and I want my book.

Augmentation covers all of that you listed, and 'medical' information and genetech. Street magic is for 4th edition. Unwired is the AR book.


Last time I checked Amazon SR4A was due some time in august.

What is SR4A?

A for Anniversary. This year is Shadowrun's 20th, and CGL is putting out two new editions of SR4. Both include all errata to date, plus all the artwork is in color. One is a regular unlimited edition, the other is a limited collector's edition. I sprang for the latter.
