The description pretty much says it all. I see there are plenty of forum and play-be-e-mail games, but I can't seem to find any chat-based onlines games.
I'm available after 7:00 PM Eastern on most weeknights. I'm usually too busy to play on Friday evening or the weekends, but I might be able to work around an early-afternoon weekend game.

The shadows are a great place to hide. Waiting patiently for my prey to step out into the light. I take a deep breath. BANG The bullet pierces through one temple and out the other. Their body slumps over and a pool of blood begins to form. Another one bites the dust |

This is how things start, see?
Anyway, I'm running the aforementioned game. Right now I have 8 players, but starting a second game (possibly in a different group or a series of individual runs via direct email). It's a PBEM which isn't exactly what you guys are talking about, though.
In any case, PM me or drop by the group if you're interested.

You should check out:
Shadowrun Seattle MUSHWe're an online, text based shadowrun game that operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We average about 25+ players an evening and operate through a telnet interface. Make sure you check out the connect link on our homepage to find out how you can connect to our game.
Hope to see some of you on Seattle!

You could always hop on
irc.dumpshock.com and check
#shadowrun (I've never tried linking to irc, so that may not work too well). If you're willing to GM, there's usually players around. If you want to play... well tough.
But I'd check there, as well. Not all of those people are forum regulars.
If any of you guys still are up for a game, I would love to run one. Please send me mail, or respond to this e-Mail. I will be very willing to start a game(Though only at starting level). As a note my rules are not quite standard so you will have to talk to me about those kinda things. I would like to start sooner then later.

I'm interested in playing. I guess I can do another starting character, but I'm getting tired of always having to make a NEW character. Can't somebody let us play a HARD adventure with some characters we've been playing with for a long time??? I mean isn't that the point of Shadowrun, to make a character and stick with them and improve on them?? I might be wrong, but I'm still interested.
Sorry just had to get that off my chest.

If anyone wants to join,
SotSW.net is once again looking for players as it grinds to a second start. I'm also looking for a good co-GM, so if you're interested in that let me know. We play the actual game in an AIM chatroom, but low-level roleplaying and logistics get handled on the site's message board.
