I am getting an error when I hit submit. I accidently deleted it so I can't say what it it. But it said something to do with mail post master.

Anyways it caused a double post.

This it?

Mail Error!

SMTP protocol failure!
Host: localhost
Return Code: 452
Return Msg: 452 Insufficient system storage
Invision Power Board Error:
Check your SMTP settings from the admin control panel

It only causes a double post if you hit refresh or repost the message. In almost all cases where this error occurs, the post in question was successfully made. The best thing to do is check the thread in question before reposting the message.

Is what I'm getting. It only seems to be in threads that I am subscribed to.

Yup, that's my problem too.

--edit--
Wierd, this forum didn't.
I think someone subscribed to the Roleplaying forum and has a bad email addy or something.
Whizbang
I got it and I never subscribe to forums.

Same here.

Just posting my experiences...in case they help.

Ok, all I did was hit refresh and it double posted.

And it will almost every time. Even though you get the error message, most times the actual post went through. Like I said earlier, the best thing to do is check the thread before reposting (or hitting refresh).

Happened to me when sending a PM this morning, too. Same error message (IIRC) but I don't know if the PM was sent. I'll wait to see if the recipient complains about a doubled message.

I've had a problem with the forums logging me off after I "add reply" to a thread... This is kind of a test.

Hum, no problem this time.
