Lofwyr: A gift certificate for a year of Scrambled Egg Breakfast Slams signed "Glasgian" You sir, are an awful, awful person. QUOTE The Smiling Bandit: "Biology for Dummies" and a watch (okay, the last bit is both old and obscure...The Smiling Bandit wiped his time stamps back when those were used in Shadowtalk sections) Hehe, I remember him. The only person who was ever capable of editing his timestamps (to something OTHER than a timestamp). |

Martin de Vries: A case of True Blood Hey, that's me! Martin de Vries: By 2073 I imagine there must be some sort of "Da Vinci Code"-ish action/thriller sim about the Ordo Maximus, or at least it's roots in hermetic societies like the OTO. I'd get him that. And imagine him throwing popcorn at the screen in disdain. Lofwyr: How to Deal with Sibling Rivalry Clockwork: Any household appliance, inhabited by a sprite. Richard Villiers: The ...For Dummies series of books, on business. He goes through so many of them... |

Not quite true, sometimes The Laughing Man's read "Ha! Fraggin' ha!" Nope, he was the only one who got identifiable text in the timestamp. A few others were able to fudge them (translated to **/**/** **:**:**), but he was the only one who could actually edit them for the longest time. I think two other Shadowtalkers total ended up doing it before timestamps went bye-bye in 3rd ed. The "Ha! Fraggin' Ha!" was 3rd, as were the ones for Bull, Chrome Accountant, and several others who had signatures. |

I see what you did there, but that is SO 3rd Edition. At least, I don't remember that must be raw requirement in RC, and Hanibelle recommends a cannibal restaurant in the Neo-Tokyo bit of Runner Havens where she often goes when in town. Page 80, Runner's Companion, Ghoul Weaknesses, last sentence. Plus a plush of Dunkelzahn and, for extra scorn, a DVD of Dragonheart (not a trid, a DVD, forcing her to go find outdated tech to watch it). VHS. |

Richard Villiers: A palm-reading session with the Seers Guild. Topic: The future of my business in the next 10 years. And a lifetime supply of Ambien. Hey, it can only improve his business decisions ...
Martin DeVries: A copy of Breaking Dawn, the first chapter Renesmee appears highlighted and marked. Alamaise: A plushie of himself, impaled through the chest onto a stick made of rose wood with neo-elven art deco carvings. Nadia Daviar: The Superman's Marriage comic fron the Golden Age, with a note inside: 'Not gonna happen'. Clockwork: A coupon for an extended stay at any Horizon retreat. Conversely: Netcat: a mechanical stopwatch that iscounting down. Slamm-O: a box of condoms and a sex ed vid on how to use them; and a small Horizon brochure: "How to deal with mistakes made, and how to not turn a bad decision into a habit". QUOTE Lofwyr: A gift certificate for a year of Scrambled Egg Breakfast Slams signed "Glasgian" Awesome, just awesome. |

VHS. Beta tape, if you want to be a real douche. But there are all of like 12 of those still functioning in the world today, and then you run into the issue of: "if it can't be played, it won't be watched." DVDs would still be "new" enough that a player could be located that would still use hookups that could be converted to any modern viewing device. VHS and Beta? Unlikely. |

Nah, Eragon is much more scorn worthy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Eragon is a terrible piece of literature, but doesn't have quite the same impact as watching Draco give away his heart. (You know, like Big D did) |
