It was released domestically in the states though, I remember watching it as a kid on VHS. What the hell was the gameshow in that then? I'll take your word on it being Robocop though.

Didn't they find that guy and kill him, then they quoted his show at him? I remember someone quoting it and killing someone.

I remember the Automag Pistols (That's not it in the shot, BTW.). Clint Eastwood used one in a Dirty Harry movie, but hated the thing. They had a "Search and Rescue Diver" on one scene whose job it was to go out and get the pistol when Clint would get upset at it jamming and throw it into the water. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif) A vision of the future that didn't happen.
The custom ammo was the major problem. IMI did it right with the Desert Eagle, making it able to chamber and use Magnum Revolver Cartridges. |

*Shakes Magic 8-Ball* Signs point to no. *Throws Magic 8-Ball at random pedestrian and laughs as I hit them in the head* And now we're back to Pink Mohawk moments. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Pink Mohawk is also about actually thriving on attention. People know about what you did, and are in awe of it. It's hard to earn respect if nobody ever finds out what you did, after all.
In the Barrens, I'd say that an ice-cold pro actually has a harder time of it; people don't know they shouldn't mess with him, so they do. They try to rob him for petty cash and all that. And even for an ice cold pro, gunshots are still dangerous. Pink mohawks are better off: people know not to mess with them, and you can't really not notice the danger signs. --- So it's also a matter of setting: on the Streets/Barrens, Pink Mohawk makes a lot more sense than in the boardroom, which is where the ice cold pros like to hang out. Boardroom types who invite Mohawks to an upscale club end up with headaches, but driving down to the Barrens to talk with the Mohawks on their own turf is also risky. |

Now that I think about it, the blues brothers was basically a pink mohawk run in its entirety. I mean really. |

No, the Penguin was the End Client. God was the Mr. Johnson. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif)
Notice that they don't get the job until they get to the church. "Do you see the light?", that's Mr. Johnson. |

They even have a band!
Is Blues Brothers on our 'list of Shadowrun movies'? It would be pretty cool to have a shadowrun campaign based around 'putting the band back together'. |

Nezumi, damnit, now you're giving me ideas!
I was just working on a new original character that just got out of prison (Jake Blues style) after a LONG stretch (20-Years!). Now I have ideas of him being in a band "Back in the day"... |

We are agreeing that Sucker Punch is firmly in the Pink Mohawk side of the scale right? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

We are agreeing that Sucker Punch is firmly in the Pink Mohawk side of the scale right? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Would that mean Inception was mirror shade pro, seeing as those are both head case themed movies? And would we say Inception and Sucker Punch were more representative of Matrix Avatars and Icons or Astral Projection on your way to a Metaplane? |

Guns are Pink Mohawk. Many Guns. Big Guns. On Women. Many Women. Why stop at ON women. Why not IN women as well? Cyberarms with implanted shotguns. Gillete girls.... In the Barrens, I'd say that an ice-cold pro actually has a harder time of it; people don't know they shouldn't mess with him, so they do. They try to rob him for petty cash and all that. And even for an ice cold pro, gunshots are still dangerous. So the ice cold pro who is unknown, but undoubtedly dangerous, get jumped by some twitchy and drugged up hippy trying to hit a nice score? The ice cold pro then convinces the hippy to safety his own weapon and then takes it from him threatening the hippy with a pistol. Free loot! |

Eh. The loot on a random attack bum isn't worth the bother. But even a random bum with a gun can be dangerous if he happens to surprise you. Sure, you're better than you look and you kill him, but the rest of the bums never learn, because they don't know to avoid you, because they don't know you.
Some animals try to be inconspicuous. Other animals are as conspicuous as possible, with big bright "I'm dangerous!" mohawks. Both types of animals thrive in different ecological niches. |

Basically, the Prey try to look more dangerous and the Hunters try to look less dangerous.

Your take is a little too black and white for me. To my mind, an ice-cold pro knows when to put on the pink mohawk. An ice-cold pro working the Barrens should know to brandish the big-ass revolver and the obvious armor jacket. It's easy to blow away the handful of clueless gang-bangers but less easy to manage the fallout with the gang leadership if you need something from them later. Part of being an ice-cold pro is about knowing how to handle a wide variety of situations, including the boardroom *and* the Barrens. |

Sure, maybe I overdid it a bit, but I wanted to make a point; it's not a ICP = cunning, PM = dumb & loud thing. PM is intelligent in it's own, boisterous way.
