I'm ok with skipping the role playing part of acquiring the equipment, but I would like to keep track of what you are getting and how you are getting it (credit or favor). It would be nice if there would be a quick IC post recapping it. For example, "After 20 minutes of making connections and shopping around, we were able to get all the necessary equipment." Something along those lines.

Yeah, I think the next step is to finalize Ahab's gear, then move into the caves unless anyone thinks it makes more sense to chase Mudlark's death, instead. I think going after that family would be more likely to give us answers, but would also be a lot more risky - especially since they saw her farcaster burn up her body before they could do whatever they planned, and probably expect that she would get resleeved and tell someone.

Still here, fell off the map with a nasty patch of work and a relocation. Back in the saddle.

In the absence of a super nose I think the caves are the right move.

So basically the weapons are going to require a little work to find. Since you have a lot of items, I'm assuming you will be using credits to acquire what you do end up getting? Renewal will use both favors or credits.

I'm still here as well. I was waiting on Grinder to roll some Netowrking to see if he is able to locate the above items (with the exception of the items I wrote "found" next to). Grinder, if your character really needs those items, please make the rolls, otherwise I'll move on.

I'm around as well, and ready to move on when everyone else is. If necessary, Ahab could ask the other agents to help him network and find some of these items before we head out (rather than making all the calls, himself).

Still here too. Haven't taken the reins on throwing up the next post because of some uncertainty of what's happening next and some tough work schedules (no rest for the wicked). Let me know if there's an IC push that should be made.

Still haven't seen anything about rolling to acquire some of the equipment. I said I would finish this and not fall through like some of the Shadowrun stuff. Think we should just make a made dash to the end and only roll for really important things (i.e. combat, hacks, important data searches, etc.)?

Shall we just pay for the stuff and assume we rolled high on the Networking Test?

Dr. C can cover the cost, but asks the the team use some of their funds or rep for some of them.

Another alternative (maybe the one you used) would be to just roll for him, but either way, we can try moving on. Dr. E would be happy to put some of his rep on the line (or to wire some funds) to make sure we have the gear we need to accomplish the mission (which sounds dangerous now that we know we've lost a member to hostiles). I've got him at 14,850 credits, and rep with the autonomists, firewall and hypercorps (and really good rep with scientists). He's called in a minor favor already to get the Spare morph, but he should have more clout to throw around as needed. When I get home tonight I'll try to cross reference the costs of those items with the rep necessary to obtain them and see who else might need to call in some favors (probably Ahab).

For the sake of moving things along, Dr. E would be willing to call in more favors to help get some of this stuff (which would take 3 Level 1 favors, 2 level 2 favors, 2 level 3 favors, and a level 4 favor) with whichever networks can help, but he'd appreciate if Ahab covered as many of the favors as he can (anyone know if his sheet is posted?) and he won't complain if other people are willing to call in favors too (Dr. C will apparently cover some of the costs, as well, but I don't know how much).
