I sense an interesting story behind this one. Care to share...? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beret.gif) Just an idea I had for a game I might run, if the opportunity presents itself. High-risk extraction of clients, runs to hack corporate data and find evidence as "Discovery," depositions (much more thrilling when the councellors have wired reflexes and cyber-spurs in addition to their rapier wit), that sort of thing. |

With Barrister Bunraku on retainer? Nah, it'd be Barrister Smith or Barrister Jones. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

2035: I am no longer allowed to refer to the Ancients as "Clan Jade Falcon". Yes, indeed. The Ancients are so much more effective and intelligent than CJF, it's an insult to them. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif) |

You know, I've just had a terrifying thought...
There's nothing stopping them from running around in big stompy 'mechs, just by modding the anthroform propulsion method of mobility to their bikes... Or other vehicles... |

You know, I've just had a terrifying thought... Other than the fact that Ares just produced the first effective Battlemech for the 2074 Desert Wars, where it was promptly shot to pieces for being too damned tall to get "Hull Down" properly?

Ooh, which book? I figure quad 'mechs are better than upright ones for that anyway. More stability, lower profile, basically a tank on legs. |

Or other vehicles... I could stat that! A well developed, organized and funded street gang turns to building stompy robosuits? You guys have yet to see the horrors I can unleash with Motorbikes and Overmodding! |

Can you cite that? Also, I don't think there are rules for vehicles going hull down yet. Or for that matter, for making taller vehicles more easily shot than low-slung ones. |

2037: I am not to recreate Traveller's Man Portable Artillery in shadowrun. Particularly not the FGMP. Maybe the ARMP...

Ah, the only guns that have rules for when you miss... ...Or when you hit and over-penetrate... through a tank... and the tank behind it... I can kind of see why my GM isn't so keen on me having one (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif) |

Quad mechs, no matter how impervious their armor happens to be against blasters, are vulnerable to tripping at which point their armor ceases to exist! -- 2038: I am not allowed to attempt to recreate any weapon present in Fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas that does not already have a direct representative in Shadowrun. |

2038e: I'm also not allowed to heavily modify a Ford Americar, call it a Highwayman, and dare anyone to try and stop it.
(Wow, we can just keep going with these Fallout jokes!) |
