at this point, I'd rather just live to tell my someday future Grand-Orks about this drekkin' story, and get paid so I can vanish from Horizons radar.

Let's gear up and find a hole to crawl into for a while so I can clear this headache!

any ideas on a location Chummers ? the fuel gauge is kinda going wobbly !

Presently you guys are arriving at the quiet apartment complex of Eclipse's place for him to get gear. You guys just driving right up to it and all getting out together or what?

Yep, and as my IC post says, Gardner is suggesting we go to the meeting with Moreau straight after. Still might suggest we take a route that is less "traceable" for the sake of keeping us and our assets safe, but we have a concrete destination now.

Heeeeelll NO! ... pull up in true gumshoe fashion under the broken / unlit streetlamp 100 yards down the street,

boot Eclipse out the van and make him walk then drive round the block until he's ready and waiting

at that point, if someone else wants to drive ? Silas wants a snack

Cool. I specifically left out a time so you guys could do whatever you want in the meantime. Pier 60 is back downtown. You guys going back via a similar route around the south of Lake Washington? Or going to mix it up by going round the north end? Or something else?

Is TundraWolf going to push for a detour to Tacoma for some extra gear from his place?

This is Bellevue. Everything is bright and cheerful on the surface. There aren't any broken street lamps. Well, just past the plasticrete walls marking the border with Redmond there is a broken street light. The gloomy spot of darkness calls out to just how different the Barrens are from Bellevue even more so than the razor wire topped walls encircling those apartment complexes closest to the border.

in that case I don't stop, while Eclipse "gets out" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
but lets move on if there's a GM hand hovering over the picking up of gear (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) if Tacoma is on the way to the pier we can also stop to get TW into his warm armour

Might be able to find a street light that's out though. Even in well maintained areas, street lights tend to turn on and off somewhat randomly. Don't know why, just seen it happen time and time again...

Tacoma would be at least half an hour extra out of the way. So it'll be an hour and a half to drive to his place in Tacoma and then onto Pier 60 if you're going by less traveled/observed routes.

Needle could hack one to turn it off if she wants to. But currently there aren't any out near his place unless you count the one a hundred meters or so down the street over in the Barrens.

I'm just trying to be not quite so "obvious" .. which given our current mode of transportation is fraggin' difficult to say the least.

if it requires something to appease the Roleplay Gods then,

Silas suggests we rock up in clown suits

and if questioned, we are setting up for a kids party tomorrow as a
"surprise" ..

I think our general looks will be enough to warrant us NOT getting asked for business cards for little Timmy next door whos birthday is in two weeks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

cause really , something this blatantly obvious would not could NOT be anything subversive, people just would not believe that we are anything other than what we look like as opposed to being runners or espionage installers etc. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

**EDIT**

yes, we want to do the same in Tacoma, we have time so lets use it to rest some stun damage and get TW some gear
I have a nasty feeling that we are not going to just hand Acson over to someone without question, with some 10 millimetre punctuation!

Heck no! Eclipse didn't even give directions to his place - he gave directions to the Stuffer Shack Elite ™ (The high class version of everybody's favourite stuff establishment), and is planning on walking a couple blocks. Both so Ascon and the team don't know where he lives, and so nobody he knows sees a clown van.

Hahaha...Probably a good idea. So the team rolls up to the amazing StufferShack that looks like it has no connection at all to the one you were just at. It is completely updated with the latest in design themes, even sporting the new logo that just got announced last month. Silas is in for a treat if he's shopping for some grub here.....or he would be if they let some guy in clown makeup walk in there. There also seems to be a security guard who seems likely to 'suggest' he take his business elsewhere...

If Eclipse is cool walking off on his own, I'll post something IC soon.

That's fine. He's just waiting on a gear order. Following that, the machine gun and trench coat will be left in the van and he'll head out in his "nice clothes."

Edit: Correction, he'll keep the coat to make it easier to smuggle gunz n' stuff back.

I'll take this time to get back into "Business wear" and clean myself up, then curl up for an hours sleep in the back of the truck. while we go somewhere.

I don't have either of those. :'(
...but you need more SMG ammo, right?

Edit: DUR STUFFER SHACK.
Eclipse will ask Mr White if he wants to poke around in there for ammo for the LMG or heavy pistols. ...since he's in a suit.

@Mr. White the business card does list an address on it for Laurent if you guys wanted to just drive to there and see if he happens to be working late. Other than that, I'm not sure how you'd go about getting a bid from him without the commlinks.

White will go do some proxy shopping if necessary.

I'm down for trying this. The team could even drop White off to go chat for a second, and circle the block or something. (Instead of showing Laurent the goods - these corp types sometimes just grab the goods and don't pay)

Hmmm....I don't believe StufferShacks normally have ammo. It's more like a Walgreens than a full Walmart that has a hunting department. I'm willing to say this one has some ammo, but they would be required to sell only to people with the proper license for the weapon the ammo is used for. Any of you at least have a fake permit for your gun? I assume nobody has one for an LMG considering none of you own one.

I do indeed have both a Fake SIN and LIC for secuity jobs,

but honestly it's not big enough a deal to warrant popping up on the grid, so I'll stick with Gel rounds and the sword for now.

Ok, fair enough.

The offer is still up for you guys trying to call contacts just to buy some extra gear in route rather than driving all around town. It's just that retail locations have laws they have to follow.

You could certainly do that. And I'm sure Aztech who owns StufferShack won't mind you doing that at all. Nor will the local Knight Errant forces that you see driving around as you walk to your apartment. And I'm sure something like that wouldn't catch the notice of the main force of Horizon that's out looking for you guys, maybe just their Strike Team.....

Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit ! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

So, Which meeting do we want to do first ? from here to TW's ? or to Atlantean foundation or the pier ?

We still need a concrete approval from TW that we are going to his place so he can get things. If he definitely wants to do that, we can.

From here, though, I would say we should look into heading to the Pier for our meet with Moreau.

As for the Atlantean, I think it is probably a poor idea to go to their headquarters (or even a side office), period. We'll have to take the risk of communication over comms, and honestly, it's too late. But if you'd like you can limit it by trying to use the subterfuge that Moreau was unwilling to deal with...

So we leave a note:

"Dear Aztechnology. Due to ongoing conflicts with Horizon and Amazonian scum, we required more bullets to better kill our mutual enemies. Unfortunately, Horizon and Amazonia are jerks and we are cash poor, so we borrowed some ammunition (and one soy sake) from your store to better wage war. Happy hunting!
-A totally real and legit shadowrunning team"

I think they just might overlook that robbery. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Edit: I like the idea of the pier, less so the Atlantean main office. We certainly have time to grab TW's stuff™ on the way though..
