I'm getting the feeling of some fast forwarding needed in the story. Let me know how far you'd like that to occur and I will either post up to that point or the first point before it requiring character decisions/posts.

@RedJack: I think you can fast forward to wherever we're going to discuss tactics, I'm just not sure where that is. Coyote Ugly type bar (we need to name this) or Downtown? Unless Sokaf objects, assume we're staying in Puyallup.

If we are going to the bar where Jingles works, Sam has Influence Group 1 and Charisma 7 for DP of 8. Here is a roll to get her to give us a private area with no surveillance and no disturbances. Well, after Sam dances on the bar once or twice anyhow. I'm sure Jingles will make her do that at least once. Let me know if you want a Gymnastics roll for the dancing. You can put that in the fluff of the upcoming scene. Sam & Jingles

8d6.hits(5) --> [6,5,5,5,4,5,3,1] = (5)

@SoyKaf: Do you have a need to go Downtown?

It's a character liking to be in Downtown, because that's where he has his places. Pullayup is still alien, and he's a little unsettled. That's all. Otherwise, he'll still be up for staying in Pullayup, but the reason he was willing to buy was it was in his side of town.

I'd prefer to gloss over the planning conversation into one sum up post by either one of you two. I guess since this was Sam's hang out we can let her wrap it up with our final decision. I think it's just easier to post ooc what we have to consider, plan, and legwork for.

First off, any hacker contacts? If not, I suppose we could tele Kilroy to look into Zephyr Security? Uniforms, vehicles, pick up protocol? response teams? security sop etc. maybe id tags if we want to go that way?

First mission is the most important one, and the one we have the greatest chances of success. I would rather delay the pickup team and pick up the package ourselves using their credentials and an illusion rather than try to assault the vehicle somewhere in transit.

how do you guys feel?

Sam has Kilroy an an increased level: 3L/3C. She can call him if Spades does not have a hacker contact. I'll wait until tomorrow to see if Soykaf chimes in. If not, Sam will call Kilroy.

@ RedJack: what sort of rolls do you need me to make for Sam to get the skinny on Zephyr Security from Kilroy? Etiquette? Negotiation? Seduction? She has the same number of dice in all three, just wondering for Flavor Text purposes. I'n not sure exactly how they interact yet, but Sam is usually nice to people she likes, and obviously some people think she gets a little too nice. (Ramses... ahem!!) No one Spades can count on for this kinda work. Go for it, everyone else has Kilroy, but we don't get him that well off. That super secret 10 BP off the end of our character's 400BP killed my contacts because I do them next to last. I am woefully under-contact'd. So woo away. Methinks I need to get crackin' making Spades some friends... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Wow, good thing Sam has a lot of contacts, but they are mostly all low-life or shady.

@RedJack - Sam will call Kilroy and ask about the following things:

Also all the usual public info on the company. Office locations, financials, etc.

Sam's roll for the friend discount on price: 8d6.hits(5)--> [6,1,6,1,3,6,3,3] = (3) If Spades wants to assist, he can chime in. Just roll Negotiation plus Charisma, and then re=roll the Successes, then I add those hits to Sam's total. Oridnarily Spades would roll first, and Sam would add his successes to her dice pool. Is that okay, Redjack?

Ok the other roll was to negotiate price (Negotiation 1 + Charisma 7), this one is for the Ettiquette + Charisma + Loyalty, and I did not roll too hot.

11d6.hits(5) -->[6,2,3,3,3,1,2,2,3,5,1] = (2)

Let me know if it's worth burning edge to reroll the failures. I have a feeling I'll need Edge later, Sam only has two.

You just have your work cut out for you. Sam is all Charisma and minimum skill, Spades has both. but he seems to be new in town, and Sam grew up here. No biggie. OOC, I just didn't want to step on your toes if you had a better contact. Sam is primarily shooty, and does the face stuff on the side.

Okay Spades will roll his helpful negotiations 4 + charisma 5 to help Sam out.

The actual roll to help Sam out... Rolling did her a TON of good, 6 hits!

Okay, for Price negotation we got an addtional 2 hits for a total of 5. 6d6.hits(5) --> [4,2,5,5,4,1] = (2) + 8d6.hits(5)--> [6,1,6,1,3,6,3,3] = (3) = 5 hits.

Can you roll an ettiquette + charisma + loyalty roll to help with the info? I only got 2 hits and am considering using edge.

There is the trick that to assist with the negotiations, you must actively be engaged in them. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
I will post up tonight or tomorrow. I have long day today and will be mobile around the city till sometime tonight.

Hey nice touch, I like it Chris.

Any ideas on how we want the run to proceed yet? I'm pretty sure I can disable the vehicle with a spirit, might even be able to make it look like we're Zephyr employees. It's the where and when I'm not sure about.

Well it kind of depends. We're only going to have 20 minutes notice, so I was thinking we hit the car after it picks up the package. Maybe borrow, rent or steal a tow truck? We can pretend we're fixing a flat on Spades car. Then whammo! Spirit Accident pops all 4 tires on the courier, and they skid to a halt. We'll need a signal jammer so they can't call for help. Then we offer them a tow, knock 'em out, tow the vehicle away, and they wake up in the middle of barrens with no package. How does that sound? Do you think Ramses can dress grungy, like a mechanic, and talk like Scotty? "... I just fixed the bloody thing..." LOL!

Gear we'd need that we don't have... tranq patches, a signal jammer, and a tow truck. Sam has lots of gel rounds for a Predator, and she has an Arms Dealer contact if we need stick'n'shocks.

@RedJack
Cool we'll be done after a little bit, would prefer if this was going on IC, but it takes longer to post in there

@Gray
Excellent add-on, if you ever scout a pair of dress shoes instead of boots for Spades' suit I would appreciate it, not only that but it'd complement the suit a lot better.

@Dirtz
Spades has 4x Rating 6 Tranq patches, for future reference.
