Xahn, you can roll your own d100 for your dance and old earth culture. You can use http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/ for any of your rolls, unless you really want me to roll it for you.

I was just posting in case you thought there were any modifiers.

Ahh...good point. No, there are no modifiers for your two rolls.

I looked at DDR's, and technically I do not think you would need to roll the Dance check with using the DDR:
p. 323 "Different software variants invoke different motions and styles."
So the DDR software you purchased would have "the robot" already programed. Your old earth culture roll will tell you what DDR to choose for to do "the robot". For example, you might have a Break Dance DDR, or a Ball Room Dancing DDR. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Here's where my lack of PbP GMing kicks in...do you want me to write up the response of the crowd to your dancing, or let you make it up.

[EDIT: I was thinking, since it was more character flavor, and less plot related, I would let you have free reign on your dancing and crowd reactions.]

On a side note, you can actually roll a d100 using invisiblecastle.com, instead of 2d10s. It would probably be a little less confusing.

Oooh, thanks, just as well as I failed the dance roll. I was hoping with the old earth culture roll, that you would decide on a good song for Jack to dance to. Just something that would suit the dance style. I'll write up the crowd response, as I'm not quite finished with the routine.

What I'm trying to do here is use my Art skill as a source of Rep, as in a post-scarcity economy, people appreciate original entertainment more. You'll see in my next post.

No problem finding an appropriate song with your roll. As far as using your Art in the new economy, it would need to be free-style with no DDR. DDR is pre-programmed steps. But I think if you free-styled and recorded your own DDR, then I think it would apply.

Can't wait to read your next post.

Sorry, thought you had something in mind. In you search of old earth culture, Jack and/or his muse come across a song from 1983 by a old earth group called The Styx. The song title...Mr. Roboto. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Sorry if I came off heavy handed, more or less setting up for the sort of rivalry that will come from them having to work together Xahn, and yes, Murphy has a positively bloody minded streak from growing up on Fresh Kills.

That's ok. Nothing wrong with a little rivelry, but I was kind of confused by Murphy's actions based on his personality you posted before. Perhaps it changed as you developed the character more.

Yeah, guess I should have waited to actually relax from work to post, let more than a bit of my bad mood bleed through, I'll bring it more back into line with character design shortly, once again, my apologies.

Poor robot beggars are always getting shoved around by big bully meat-bags. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) This scene could go about a hundred different ways - most of them, hilarious.

Jimson, would you prefer if we continue our various IC vignettes, and see where things go? Or were you planning to have Firewall call and round us all up soon, anyway (in which case, I won't start anything new). I can roll with either plan.

You guys can continue with your IC vignettes for a little while. If you feel you've done you character justice, then we'll see how the dancing ends, and then we'll move on with Firewall.

As for Xahn/Jack, let's roll up that Lemon trait. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Wow! Still not used to PbP GMing. All, please be patient with me. Thanks for pointing that out BlackHat.

Xahn, please roll me a Fray and a -10 for being distracted (dancing). After that, regardless of the hit, roll me your Lemon trait.
