Yeah, totally. I might pepper my speech with it occasionally but only a few words, and only after a visit to Google Translate. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif)

And that's when the <language> tag comes into play. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I'm more or less assuming that Spanish is going to be the default In Character language. But as I'm not fluent in Spanish, you'll have to be content with me writing lines of dialogue in English with a few Spanish terms tossed in for flavor.

Oh, that's fine. Hell, I took Spanish for a combined five years, and I can still barely ask where the hell the bathroom is.

Hah. I can order at the taqueria (mostly because I've been, uh, practicing) or at the bar, but my conversational Spanish sucks.
I still think I should've taken German or Russian in college instead of Spanish. |

I wish I'd taken Spanish. This day and age, and the neighborhood I live in, it would be a hell of a lot more useful than my barely-remembered Japanese.

I thought everyone spoke French in Canuckistan. Also, everyone up there eats canadian bacon all day and rides around on the backs of meese. Actually, French is almost exclusively spoken in Québec. I've only known a handful of Canadians (and by that, I mean someone not from Québec) who spoke some French, and usually, it was either because they lived, or had lived, in Québec. People from New Brunswick also usually speak some French, but that's pretty much it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) And yes, French is my first language, so cut me some slack (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif) |

Nah, our socialist dictatorship has French as a second language but you only ever need to speak it if you're in Quebec or working for the government. In the case of the latter, you can probably get by with only knowing basic phrases. Also what the fuck is this canadian bacon thing? I've lived my whole life never seeing anything other than the standard bacon strips you see anywhere else. Not to say canadians wouldn't eat bacon all day every day if they could live through doing so, but then who in their right mind wouldn't? Edit: Juan you sonofabitch! I got beat by a dirty frenchman, the shame! |

Well as I understand it, what we call Canadian bacon is better known as "back bacon." Frankly, I find the term "Canadian bacon" to be more appetizing, even if it does sound a bit like it's bacon made from Canadians.

Hi,
I know the game already started and recruiting is closed, but I would like to step in sa a replacement shall you need one. Caracas was my hometown for many years and I would like to explore its sixth world counterpart. Thanks |
