So, what kind of damgage would a cultured devilrat tube/club do? could spells enhance it?

A hollow tube, pressure-filled with astrally active stuff (devil rat flesh, FAB bacteria, vacuum-packed Ghoul,) should, I think, retain the shape of the club which is pysically restraining it in the physical, and the density that it is packed in with.

But that's not as much fun as using a Ghoul as a cudgel. :)

yes, I am very fond of the ghoul-club.
I'm thinking restraints that give the troll a comfortable handhold while swinging. Then you have the dual-wielding troll, using two dwarf ghouls...

Gnomes ghouls might be easier to swing, but then again you wouldn't get the same reach bonus.

I prefer to two-hand an Elf-Ghoul.

Is it possible to projectile launch a ghoul and have that damage the spirit? Or does that follow the whole "move so fast in the astral they just dodge out of the way" sorta thing?

For some reason those circus cannons with a Ghoul Cannonball comes to mind...

Well it's funnier for one, less expensive for two.

But I do see your point.
