...I like the 2L & the hot doggie. This man knows the value of Cyberlimbs.
The only thing is, can he drink, chew hot doggie, and shoot at the same time? (needs the Multitask Adept Power) :grinbig: |

Of course he can, but he takes multi-wielding penalties for doing so.
It is satisfactory. |

...no biggie...she really has to be stunning.
Think of Marlena Detrich (Shanghai Express, A Foreign Affair, Judgement at Nuremberg) or Ingid Bergman (Casablanca, Intermezzo, Notorious). Lana even likes to dress in that style. [edit] Oh and Jessica's line from Who Framed Roger Rabbit "I'm not bad, I'm only drawn that way." |

It's pretty hard to see, HC, because the lines are so light - that said, I like. :) |

...no issue here, I'll just keep yours & Trigger's threads afloat as I have been doing. Looks good so far. Maybe not quite so "wide eyed". She is personable, but also very confident and one of the best in her biz. As I mentioned in my previous post, Lana usually dressess like she is back in the 1930s - 40s. slinky knee length skirt, simple low cut V neck blouse or cardigan, stylish longcoat, & typical "reporter's" hat. The Microphone (which she carries mainly for looks) should have the KSAF call letters on it. Here's a link to an gallery of an actress I forgot to mention in my last post. She really was the model for Lana. Lauren Bacall 1940's gallery Now that's one fine dame... BTW, two of her contacts are "Mel" the Troll reporter who is pictured in Shadowbeat and "Jack Q. Trid Reporter". Featured in the Ka*Pow! Ka*Pow!© Pro*file (kind of her mentor). Lana and Audrey V. were of course rivals. |

..adding Mel as the vid man is excellent. Make sure he is wearing his Fez (He has one on on in the Shadowbeat illo) The proportions look pretty good as does the Fuchi cam he's carrying.
Lana still needs the trench coat. In the gallery link I provided, you can view other pictures of Ms Bacall. by just clicking on the "continue" button. Also Lana's pose looks a bit stilted. she should appear a bit more "graceful" maybe her head turned to one side, hair slightly over one side of her face. Lana really loves playing the 30's "Dame act". gotta log off, the film is starting (at the cinema to watch Clockwork Orange) Will be back after the film. [edit addendum] Excellent Cine, got me into the mood for running the mission I have planned for today Now that I studied the sketch a bit more she looks somewhat dour. Being an elf she would have a slightly more slender and delicate face like Lindsay Cartwright. I know it is hard to show the ears with the hat on. The style of the era for the skirt should be more tight fitting and slinky with no pleats (think "gray flannel suit", but for a woman). Also Check some of the tops that Ms Bacall is wearing: Pics #9, #22, & 24 are quite representative of the era. Also if you remember the outfits that the replicant character "Rachel" wore in Bladerunner are quite excellent. As to the pose, the first pic in the Lauren gallery really catches the "I'm not bad, I'm only drawn that way" look. The 6th photo is also very good and imparts a confident and determined feeling of, "...I'm going to get this story or else." You don't need to actually mimic any of these, just use them as guidelines. Hope this helps. Again take your time, take a breather if you need to. |

...I like very much. Maybe "unaccent" the smile lines just a bit since when inked they make a person look much older than they are. With the adjustments you mentioned above, I can't wait to see the final sketch.
Mel looks awesome. I think The baseball cap works better, makes him looks like a real vid man. The background is excellent. Waiting to see what goes on the sign above the door. My guess it's a bar. Wish I had my Seattle Sourcebook with me to suggest some names. |

...Fat Samurai: Totally wonderful. Munchin & gunnin his way through the shadows. Will be cool to see what the background will be.
...Lana Lane: hubba hubba, stop the Presses!" I think KSAF's ratings just shot through the roof. The Nielsen and Arbitron (another media rating group) matrices have just crashed due to extreme overload & their sysop deckers have a serious case of dumpshock (at least that's what they say). |

Per your request, a collection of items in profile (as if being displayed for a BBB or item/gear supplement)
1: A med-kit, including contents. Should (at least) include a couple of slap-patches and some kind of portable medical computer/unit/advisor. 2: A laser weapon. This should be a full-sized battle rifle with nothing spared - that means no laser target sight or iron sights. It should have an integral Smartlink, and a scope that can use the data from the smartlink for long-range firing. Far from being boxy, it should be a sleek and sexy ergonomic design, preferably including an underbarrel bipod mount. 3: A grenade - an electromagnetic pulse grenade. It should be obviously different from a pineapple frag grenade, but equally obviously used as a thrown weapon. 4: A Commlink (SR4), and it's attendant AR overlays 5: A Stuffer-Shack branded instant chupaqueso (essentially a burrito with the shell (and insides) made out of cheese instead of tortilla) in a wrapper (so you don't have to worry about drawing an unknown consumable), instant burger in autoChef-safe container, and a big gulp of something akin to an Icee/slushee. Go hog-wild on the advertising of these. |

...just caught the latest update of Lana on the Deviantart site. Looking really, really nice. Only need a name on the sign behind her.
How about the "Seattle Press Club" Back in my hometown there was a "News Bar" (I kid you not) called the Milwaukee Press Club which was located in the same space the original Press Club occupied. Instead of sports on multiple screens, they had different streaming news feeds. One of the coolest things was on the walls were hanging lacquered slate boards with the real autographs of notable people who were guests of the original press club (when it was an exclusive organisation) such as Louie Armstrong, Bogart, Teddy Roosevelt, Kate Hepburn (my favourite actress), and even Queen Elizabeth. |

Still the Fat Samurai looks like his weapon is a jam waiting to happen, but the soda at least looks bigger. :) |
