What happens to all that Karma that goes to the creepy, sleazy Free Spirit on the corner in the dirty trenchcoat when he gives you money?

@Ryu Shosara was in Russia most likely near Arkhangelsk at one point however Redbrick has a supplement in the works about it, and unfortunately it has been moved to Sweden. Retconned because the map was "inaccurate" or "fuzzy" as to its location, needless to say many feel it is a stretch.

Do you really want to know what a sleezy free-spirit does with Karma? It would be a question that would be frequently unanswered. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif) Personally, I figure he just goes into the Astral Plane, with the same dirty trenchcoat, and sells them as drugs to the Spirits there... |

I don't think you can draw a direct line between any of the old Elven Kingdoms from Earthdawn, and their modern day descendants. Their is just too much cross pollination. Alachia and the Oakforest clan are clearly Blood Elves and are located in Tir Tairngire. Ehran who I suspect was in the Theran faction was also in TT for a long time. I presume many of the TNN IE's are from Shosara (especially seeing as how Shosara is now apparently going to be located in Sweden) essentially since we can see that Harlequin does not get along with either grouping we can stretch a bit and assume (I know reaching) neither is based on Sereatha. I always assumed the Shosarans in TT were those who left the city because Shosara started dealing with humans? And there is correllation between Sereatha and TT, very much in fact. Erhan is actually mentioned in 'Harlequin' as being from the city of spires. Oakforest is a Sereatha native too, though he spent the Plague in Blood Wood (lucky him). Jenna is, too, I think ... but I'm not sure about that. And no, you cannot really draw a direct line, but the IEs TEND to sort by faction, still. Hence my question about Pomorya ... it being founded by Shosaran IE would actually give it some kind of sense with regards to the SR background. |

I believe Jenna is the late daughter of Alachia. I think she is adressed as somewhat of an inexperienced youth in Worlds Without End.

As far as I was concerned there was no good reason to move it, however they decided that it fit better overall especially with some intended tie ins elsewhere (all sort of vague). The arguments for the move were in my mind pretty weak, but they got the license and all the product they have put out to date has been quality, so I am of the mind to sit back and wait for it to come out.

The argument was started by the comment on the bottom of page four http://www.earthdawn.com/forum/index.php?topic=410.45and continues, with Dammi giving official word. I don't believe there is ever a name given for the future supplement.

Does that make this a cash-for-karma deal? Is the Free Spirit that does this kind of deal even sleazier than the one that does the Karma-For-Cash? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/vegm.gif) |

Ah, the Elven Nations sourcebook: QUOTE Long-term planning here, for a book on the Elven Nations (Blood Wood, Shosara, and the Western Kingdoms). Wonder what's the status of it? |

Do you really want to know what a sleezy free-spirit does with Karma? Reminds me of the South Park episode about Cartman's evolved Sea Monkeys. "Yea, I got the whole jug for free. Just had to suck it out of a hose!!" We have a Free Spirit in our game that runs a casino and often does Karma for Cash transactions through the games of chance at his place. |

What happened to Daniel Coleman? He died in the second Great Ghost Dance during the war against Spider (in the novel Find Your Own Truth). More realisticly, a Wizard did it. Someone with an odd sense of humor took an eagle and a lion and put them together using the Earthdawn Wizard spell Alter Life, created more either through the same process or via magical cloning, and then the two griffins matted and produced more griffins. When the mana level droped below what was necessary to sustain a magically altered life form they reverted to either lions or eagles and passed their griffin genes down to the line until the Awakening. Nice (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) 10 karma for that really good explanation. aside from him being obviously immortal . . is there any indication for him being magically active and not just resonance in the shadowrun-timeline? o.O He displays magical capability in the end of Black Madonna, and is a questor of one of the Earthdawn Passions that he perceives/displays as Isis. ------------- Now for some questions: Did Sam Verner/Twist ever get his magical capability back or not? Did Kyle Teller ever find his wife and kid, and did they survive the CZ? Did Moleskin just see the future and inspire the Temple of Prima based on that, or is Prima a real Passion? Are Passions/Idols/Totems etc real beings, or just echoes of the magician's beliefs? Were Verjigorm and his spawn truly responsible for the creation of the Namegiver races and the world as we know it (ie is Verjigorm God)? If so, how did Verjigorm come into being? Are the horrors that slipped through at the end of Worlds Without End still active, which ones were they, and what are their stats? Is Krista Fried (Night's Pawn and Target Smugglers Havens) alive or dead? Did magic work in a consistent - if extremely minor - way during the down cycle, or only in mana spikes? |

Forgot some questions:
What even happened to Sally Tsung and Ghost (who are both likely pushing 50 now)? Are Dr Raven, Kid Stealth, and Wolf still running? What happened to Striper? Did Dodger survive the second Crash? (IIRC he was at the IPO) What's going on with Hangfire and Neon Samurai (and is the latter a decker, street sam, or both - I was never too clear on that)? Did Kham finally die of old age or go out in a blaze of glory? |
