I assume characters built with Arsenal are allowed in Missions.
Is there anything that is excluded or included from the standard options in that book? |

Honestly, I haven't had a chance to go through everything that made the final cut in Arsenal in great detail. (My daughter was born in December.) I'll try to have some clarifications up in the next couple of weeks.

Arsenal is also not out in all outlets. I know my local game store just got Corporate Enclaves last week, and there's a huge SR4 following in town, so it's not like the shop owner doesn't order.

The dead tree version of Arsenal will not be released until March sometime, so your store is not slow or missing out. |

The Advanced Combat rules on Arsenal, p162 are awesome rules such as fighting with two weapons and target designation, but they are listed as optional so they may be worth review/explicit inclusion. :-)

dead tree version is mid march (BattleCorps has a March 18th ship date for me right now). PDF version is available via the normal shops.
Dunner, congrats on the daughter! -dog |

I assume characters built with Arsenal are allowed in Missions. Is there anything that is excluded or included from the standard options in that book? Alright, just finished going through everything, and I'm comfortable greenlighting most everything, with one important caveat. The "More Ways to Die" chapter just goes into more detail than the campaign needs for public play. As a consequence, we won't be using that in normal Missions games. If a GM is running a home game, and the players agree to it, then they're more than welcome to use that material. However, for convention and other public games, those rules will most likely extend things beyond our usual allotted time frames. So, we won't be using those rules. I'll be updating the Missions FAQ soon to reflect this. Also, as usual, keep in mind the availability rules when selecting gear for new (or experienced) characters. Obviously anything with an availability above 12 won't be available to starting characters and may be difficult to obtain for characters who have the necessary funds. Dunner, congrats on the daughter! Thanks! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cyber.gif) |

LOL it is not just the gun bunnies that are happier. There are great things in Arsenal for everyone. My Shaman is drooling over quite a bit of stuff in there.

Yeah, it's a great book and very long overdue. Arsenal should have been the second release after SR4. The authors got a few glitches but it's a very solid book, even if it does feel a bit Rigger-lite.

Ah but with a rigger its not what you have its how you mod it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Unless you have a rigger that only uses Stock drones. and if you find one of those I'll show you a blue dog. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grinbig.gif) Rigger+stock gear=gunbunny with drones...or a very broke rigger (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |
