In Street Magic, page 178, the Nerve Strike Adept Power is said to be "most effective against metahuman opponents", and work at half efficiency against critters. Presumably this is because critters are arranged differently and have nerves in different places.
But the VetTech Skill, (Running Wild page 35) gives the character intimate knowledge of the anatomy of all kinds of critters. Surely someone with this skill should know where to strike, no? I suppose it might be difficult to strike a major nerve if it is out of reach in a very large critter, but otherwise I don't see why it would not work. Comments? |
