Just wanted to point out that Karma Pool changed a bit from SR2 to SR3, with the important difference being how much is used for re-rolls.
For a Standard Test, it's one dice for the first re-roll, 2-dice for the 2nd roll, 3-dice for the third, etc. This is a cumulative amount of dice 1-dice = 1st (1-dice cumulative) 2-dice = 2nd (3-dice cumulative) 3-dice = 3rd (6-dice cumulative) 4-dice = 4th (10-dice cumulative) 5-dice = 5th (15-dice cumulative) 6-dice = 6th (21-dice cumulative) 7-dice ... etc. Open Tests require spending 1-dice per die to be re-rolled in the Open Test, so 10-dice re-roll means spending 10-Karma Pool dice. IIRC, SR2 had no such limitations, it was one-dice per re-roll. SR3.246 is where you can find this stuff. |
