Well im sort of coming up with a couple of concepts so that I can make an informed decision of an appropriate character to play with other concepts of other players.
Plus I sometimes just sit here watching a movie and come up with some random concept. I think if anything I will be going with Ellaine if not too many people apply for this campaign. |

You said Raygun's stuff was available at your discretion. Can you approve the Smith & Wesson X-Frame, the Kahr MK Series, the FN Five-seveN, the Brügger & Thomet MP9, and the Accuracy International AW50 for me?
Also, I'd very much appreciate a one-time exception to the Avail 6 rule- I'd really like a riot shield. Could I buy one, at double price perhaps? |

Oh, yeah. Not quite as big and scary as the S&W Model 500 I'm getting, but plenty big.

I would be interested in this game. I have a low-powered character from another game that fizzled before it could go anywhere, named Viper, and it would be great to be able to play her again. Here is the concept:
Viper Viper is a shamanic Snake sorceress, streetwise and with a good eclectic selection of spells. Not quite face-level in social skills, but could be an emergency spare. Viper is an elven female of medium height, with a slender build. Her hair is dyed a dark green, worn short and spikey but with a long braided ponytail. She has bright green eyes and pale skin. She usually wears a flourescent light green lipstick. She has extensive tattooing. A design of snakes coiled around vines, both green but with vivid red flowers, encircle her navel, and seem to be part of a bigger design. Her forearms are encircled with vivid metallic holofoil tattoos of shiny barbed wire, with ruby bursts that look like blood. Viper is usually an incongruous combination of perky goth and grungy goth. Black, studded synthleather, black workboots and jeans, then something like a pink "death kitty" T-shirt. She also usually wears armbands and loop earrings (and a few other piercings) of plastic in rainbow hues. However, she can (and does) dramatically change her look quite often. Viper is bouncy, almost hyperactive, and often says or does things to shock people or to push their buttons, usually with an impish grin. She is cute and clever, but also seems a bit fickle and shallow at times. She is a relative neophyte to the shadows, but has a minor run or so under her belt. Her main motivation seems to be picking up some quick cash to party with. |

Toptomcat: the only ones I'm going to say no to are the FN Five-seveN and the Accuracy International AW50. Also I'm going to have to say no on the Riot shield, but as soon as game play starts you can try and acquire one :D .
Glyph, looks good. Also mystweaver reminded me of something, you get 3D6 x 500 nuyen. |

Brandon Spears
Combat Medic Since childhood, Brandon wanted to be a doctor like his parents. He grew up comfortably, well supported by the family income, and concentrated on making his grades. He graduated 4th in his high school class, and went on to college, expecting to go on to med school when he finished. His plan fell apart while he was away at school. His parents were tragically killed in a drunk driver accident, and without the family practice, he didn't have the money to continue. He was three years through med school when he moved to Seattle to try to find work. Although he wasn't a licensed doctor, he was unwilling to give up his dream. He soon found a job with Alliance Health, a startup company trying to compete with DocWagon. Bradon was assigned to a HTR helicoptor unit, and became one of the best medics in the firm. During his stint as a fast-roper, Brandon discovered his apt with firearms. He grew to love his job, thriving on the thrill of combat and the stuggle between life and death. Brandon's flight responded to a high-threat request one night. A client was involved in a running gunfight between his bodyguards and an aggressive bike gang. The helicopter was hit hard and went down, killing the client. Brandon, despite being the least wounded, lost his left arm. The resulting litigation spelled the end for Alliance Health. Brandon stole some of his equipment before the company's assets were seized. With that, and what was left of his family's inherentance, Brandon dissapeared into the Seattle shadows. |

Thankyou all for you thoughts.
If you want, characters can be posted in this thread. Toptomcat: Yes on the Glock 20, and no on the Remmington 700 (try for something under a power 12 and or less than Deadly damage). Other things, each of you will have a level 1 contact in common for free who I'll post later. Now for a hard question, what kind of game do you want? Everyone please list atleast 2 movies that show what their looking for. |

This is a character I started playing with about 5 years ago. He is still alive and running in a game I play around table. He is now something VERY powerful (704 karma).
I would love to play him again because I would play him very differently but with a good basis of a character to get into a role that should work well with any group. Chi-Sao: Adept Kung Fu/ Pistols specialist. An adept of the way of the Shadow, Chi-Sao was brought up around traditional chinese guardians and has some links with the Triads in Seattle. His life on the streets has been brutal but nothing he has not been able to manage so far. Chi-Sao is focused totally to magic and shuns the use of cyberware, though he accepts its usefulness to those that embrace it. He looks down on awakened beings that have degraded thier power with cyberware. He knows that he is but a spec in the world but wants to make not only a name for himself as one of the best sharp shooters but also to strive to improve the well being of those who cannot stand up for themselves... if not also to make hideous amounts of cash by doing anything and everything to fund his campaign (even if that includes being quite hypocritical in methods). A detailed history is below however this contains the details to some flaws and secrets other PC's need to find out if they want to take advantage Stats [ Spoiler ] Contacts [ Spoiler ] Equipment [ Spoiler ] VERY detailed History [ Spoiler ]

I have to second Hard Boiled. It is probably the greatest, most over the top action movie in history. And I'm not joking.
Also, I'd go with Grosse Point Blank because I like quirky humor and fun, even in Shadowrun. |
