Mensa, for example, uses a standard deviation of 24. Since I don't really like this brand of canned worms, I won't launch into a huge rant about IQ measurement. Let's just keep in mind that the Intelligence-statistic in Shadowrun clearly measures a whole lot of things that no RL IQ test I'm aware of touches upon, thus no IQ measurement necessarily has anything to do with having a high INT score in SR.

This way the highest stat rating that you'd likely see in the whole human population would be 8.

At any given time. You'd get an 11 every couple hundred thousand 6-billion-person iterations, roughly. That's pre-augmentation, of course.

Puts the "exceptional" back in "exceptional attribute".

That depends on how much you want to split hairs. I could probably list off about 20 more knowledge skills it's just not that pertinent in relation to the rest of reality and it's probably background knowledge similar to other college educated (or not) people.

Why are you even asking Kenshi for a drawing? You should be whipping out character sketches for everyone, after all, it does not even require an effort from you. Here's how to determine your attributes.
Quickness can be determined by determining walking rate and running rate. Also by other means like the number of throwing knives or shuriken that can be readied in 3 seconds or the number of rounds that can be loaded in a revolver or internal magazine in 3 seconds.

Since you now have stun damage, time how long it takes to recover. The base time is 9 hours. (You ask why not 10 hours? We are timing from the time you regain consciousness, which would be at 9 boxes of stun.) Repeat this lifting/holding/passing out several times to get a good sample. If the result from your recovery test is different than the result of your Body test, you are probably using willpower to recover because it is higher. Average recovery times for W1-7: W1-540 min., W2-510 min, W3-420 min, W4-270 min, W5-252 min, W6-210 min, W7 (what are you a dwarf!) - 180 min..

Intelligence can be determined by adding up your language skill and dividing by 1.5, because you have more important things to raise than stupid language skills. If you see yourself as a linguist, add all your knowledge skills and divide by 5.

Charisma can be easily assigned. You are reading a RPG message board, give yourself a 1. If you think you are the social type, give yourself a 2.

Moving Target Group: Members Posts: 775 Joined: 31-March 05 From: florida Member No.: 7,273	whats more thats SR3 stats, what about SR4 stats, if i had to guess my attributes for SR4 i would say body: 3 agility: 4 reaction: 3 strength: 3 charisma: 2 intuition: 5 logic: 3 willpower: 5 overall i'm pretty average, but i have a very high dexterity (agility), an insanely accurate sense of intuition, and a stubborn streak that would shame a mule (willpower) while all this is true my ability to deal with women sucks due to the fact that initially i treat them all as ladies and get snubbed because of it, they read it as either outright chauvinism, or being a player with an odd unknown angle

Lol, try working in a pizza place 12 hrs a day 5 days a week, it becomes an active skill that hauntes you in your sleep, and you think about it all the time. But I dont mean just knowing how, but being able to do it fast and make it presentalbe, while having at least a sub-standard health safety level (anyone who works in a restaurant should know a little of what I mean).

And if I told you all about my magical stats, plus the spirits I conjure, you'd have me locked up for psychosis and detachment from reality. But they are nice spirits.....
