@Koyote Kid: Yeah Hercegovina rocks! You got some Informations on Croatia 2070? I was planning to run my Team also thru a Campaign in Croatia and the embattled territories of former Bosia and Herzegowina but unfortunately there are only rare Informations on the Balkans 2070. Got only a map of Southern Europe including Croatia, a few infos from Shadows of Europe and background infos from two novels that describe the Wars ~2032 on the Balkans.

...actually my campaign is taking place in 2062 & is under SRIII rules. Since there was so little info given on the Balkans, I've had Croatia. under military occupation by Serbia for about a decade. Very dangerous place to be right now. Can't give a lot of details for it would contain too many spoilers for the campaign.

Suffice to say, Serbia has become a pocket dictatorship and is surprisingly highly mechanised as the PCs have been discovering. Of the hardware they have seen so far, most of it is Russian (BMP-053s, T-030s, Hind-Js, Sukhoi 51s).

Once beautiful Zagreb (rebuilt after the last Euro War) is a less than a shadow of its former self. The Resistance has been tenacious, managing to hold together for nearly a decade and both sides have become mired in somewhat of a stalemate. Currently there appears to have been a sizable mobilisation of Serb forces, the reasons for which are not entirely clear yet.

...this is as much as I can give at this time.

[edit]

However let's not derail Squinky's thread. I can discuss this more via PM if you would like.

Hi all, been awhile. I am still waiting on replies from the last two sketches I posted here, and am working on some other art lately. That and my level 39 warlock are keeping me pretty tied up :)

But wanted to post a link to a cool shadowrun story on Deviant art that a friend of mine wrote/is writing:

Benzie's deviant account

Her stories are based off of our shadowruns and I play the character named Twytch.

Just throwing it out there, any comments you guys could leave her would be awesome.

QUOTE (TheDrake)
Here is a sketch that was done at the GenCon '07 Scramble 2 for my character, which I've colorized. If anyone knows who played the Tammanous representative and also goes by the IRL nick "Pen", can you IM me here forum name or just thank her again for me?

TheDrake,

This is Penguin, "Walks-In-Darkness" at Scrample 2, and Pen loved the coloring you put on the drawing.

If anyone else is interested in her artwork, just PM. She'll be doing artwork for some of my future games (Including "2 Tequilla!" at GenCon 2008).

Thanks man, I replied to your PM, but it turned up an error because my PM folder was apparently full. So in case you didn't get it, it would be cool if you linked to my DA page, if you wanted to.

Thanks.

That said, I decided to clear house on all my PMs Anybody who sent me a PM requesting something that I have lost track of will need to resend it. Although I prefer if all art requests are here in the thread so I can keep better track of it.

It just got so jumbled I had no real reasonable way to go thru and look for all the hidden stuff. The only ones I know for sure this will affect is Kyoto and Shadowdragon's sketch, but we can hit that hurdle again when we get to it :)

You still owe me some frontal boobery, Squinks. :P

But I'm willing to take an indefinate raincheck. ^_^

You know how someone's your real chummer? They'll let you take an indefinate, no-interest extension on your debts. That's as good as saying "I'll take a bullet for you, man" in the Shadows.

I think this is your best yet. Particularly her face and eyebrows.

I look forward to the next.

And speaking of which, when are you going to update your "in line" list?

...I have a backup in Word of the "Grande Family Portrait" description (I usually do my longer posts/PMs in word first then just copy them over).

Since the GFP is such an involved project (and I already requested it be pushed back once), I almost rather see a second go-around at Violet since I have "retooled" her for a 4th Ed campaign I am now participating in.

She's still pretty "bat cave"-ish, kind of like the character Death from the DC comic of the same name (she actually uses the name Dee Dee Black as one of her aliases). Vi is still really into the whole Lemony Snicketts thing. Again she's 5'4", slender (STR of 2) Dark Auburn hair down just past her shoulders (which she ties up before a job like her namesake from the books) She wears a London Fog Edwardian styled longcoat and now only carries a Hammerli 650 loaded with S&S and a Yamaha Fabuki.

She also never goes anywhere without one of her trusty tool kits which she usually carries in an old style doctor's bag. She also conceals smaller tools in the pockets of her longcoat.

Her commlink is "built in" and she has no visible chrome save for the shock hand implant in her right hand - her cybereyes look like natural eyes and her cyberears look like natural ears (cosmetic modification). She is also a "designer baby" in the context that she has benefited from her parents having undergone Gentech treatments as she has herself (she has the Genetic Heritage quality). So she should look like the "perfect" young lady (actual age: 19 - not too busty though). She has also undergone some minor BioSculpting since her extraction from MetaTech in Boston.

gotta get back to work, If I think of any other important details I'll post them later.

[edit]

I think that actually is about it.

...oh yeah, like her namesake, she hates the colour Pink.

I have a friend whose character pic was drawn on here so I thought I might see if this character can be made:

El Rey: Troll Physical Adept; He wields a Ruger Super Warhawk. He is a Mixed Martial Artist/Street fighter so maybe bandaged knuckles. He would be in his 20's and he wears an Armor Jacket.

What ultimately comes to mind is Marv from Sin City as a Troll. I appreciate the help into this character being drawn.

You mean you didn't snag the name from El Ray of Planet Terror fame? The man who can't miss (not even in your pants)?

Eh, well if that was the case..he would be more of a duel wielding adept, My Troll is more like Marv.

I liked 'Rey' (It translates to King) even before the movie and since I'm Mexican...I liked the idea of a Mexican Troll similar to Marv from Sin City.

besides in Planet Terror, the name was El Wray

On a side note. Planet Terror is one of my favorite movies.

Oh my goodness, I didn't think you'd actually draw that! :rotfl:

But if the direct implication of a male elf being forcibly sodomized by a huge troll isen't too wrong to draw, why are boobs?

Probably because it is only implication, and not actually explicit.

Nice job on the new sketches, by the way, Squinky.

It may not "show" anything, but the posture (and the fact he's holding lube) seems to indicate that forcible penetration is imminant. Which is, to my way of mind, far more naughty than a simple, friendly 'comparing boobs and tatoos at the pool'.
