haha, yeah. the stories i could tell about german and japanese tourists in Itaewon (especially japanese, christ). every tourist is an asshole.

I'm not kidding. I think I saw it on CNN. The kit included an obviously Canadian t-shirt, a facts & slang book, and pictures of Canadian landmarks that you could show to your European guests. *shakes head* Me, like my country, I'm all for tourists. |

I know. That's why my response was what is called a, "joke."
I never worried about it from a language perspective except a couple of times when I couldn't hear what someone was saying, but physically I couldn't have stuck out more if I was a 7 foot tall Chinese woman, so I just used it to my advantage so people would leave me the hell alone. |

And when I saw the generic German tourist trying to enter the St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City with boxer shorts, I know that everything you can do is trying to be one of the exceptions...
