Hello to Sicarius, Kiedo, and Chance359! Please use this thread for anything you guys want to discuss OOC before and during the game gets started. Sorry that it is taking longer than anticipated, I've been down with some sort of flu for the last couple days.
Anyway. I think that your characters will work well together, it will be fun to have two troll-ish characters together like this. One thing that I am concerned about is that there is no magic user other than an Adept. Do you want to try it like this, have me NPC you up some magic support, or should I put out a call for a mage/shaman character on the board? It's up to you and I am game for either. Whatever happens I should have the IC thread up by Saturday. Let me know what you think. |

I wouldn't mind having another player. I agree we'll probably need more magic. I vote for another player first and NPC second.

Although you all have good characters would any of you like to make a mage? I'll wait for everyone to check in and if we haven't reached another solution I'll post a call for magic users.

I've been wanting to play this character ever since I bought SRC, so I'll pass on the mage option :).
But my vote also goes to another player, though that decision is entirely up to you. I'm looking forward to running this, my character isn't really a shadowrunner, he's maybe done one or two, but nothing to write home about, so this will be an interesting roleplaying expirence (since I usually play a stouter character who's very expirenced, but most times still a troll, I'm not to sure they why, but that's just always how it works out). |

If we can get a character to join us that would be good, but i wouldn't want to wait to terribly long. maybe we could put a standing call out, and than mix them in when they join us?

Bad news everyone. My laptop's power cord is no longer supplying power to my computer. There is a chance that it will be fixed this weekend, but I am not sure. I won't be able to start the game this weekend. I'm sorry. I will update you all later.

I don't mean to be a douchebag, but would it be advisable if we all wrote in the same voice? (ie: First or Third person). Shadow I thought your post was killer, but i'll be honest and say got confused cause it was in 1st person. Maybe its already been mentioned in a PM, but i wanted to see what people thought?

Hmmm, yeah. I didn't think of that. I have always used third person myself, but I'll leave it up to you.
Also, sorry for the stop and start nature of this game so far. If you'll all bear with me a little longer I think that we'll get the kinks ironed out. |

Sorry Sic. Trac is the only character I ever write in frist person. He's a noir type detective so it seemed to make sense that he narrate the story.
If it is to distracting I can try for 3rd. Let me know. |

@sicarius Lol.
Poor Grendel, he doesn't know anything about being a shadowrunner. I'm actually glad that you didn't introduce yourself, there is a rather large person from Icarus' past named Buzz, by pure coincidence, and that might have put a bad taste in his mouth... And as a side note, I like shadow's potrayal of his character, make it kind of edgy. |
