Sorry for not posting last night. I had a massive headache. I think I was only conscious for about two hours after getting home from work.
OK, Kiedo: Darren can help out with the permits; however, he will need to know if you are going to part with some cash to speed up the process. I'll edit the post with his rolls in a minute. |

@Kiedo
Base + 25% for Darren's cut - 20% for fake = 105% / permit :nuyen: 1000 for all three availability 9 / 1 day 18 dice for each test = 2 days / permit |

@ last ... mikeys
Jack will know the following: The museum was forced on SK due to timley lobbying in the CAS House and Senate. The area is ideal for SK due the proximity to downtown and the ability to stand out. They are tired of operating out of the downtown office building they have been renting. The downtown office is located on the top three floors of a new office tower. Rumor has it that the next floor down is being used as a buffer zone / security checkpoint. It is a standard corporate office if anything can be said to be standard about SK. Jack is certain that the man that he saw is not part of the corporate culture in New Orleans. He is not sure who that person is without further investigation. |

Are the 3 S-K floors extra-teritorial?
Also, I would like to make a security systems roll to see what I know about the downtown office's security. I have 8 dice to roll. 4 hits. Ooohh, I do so love my Red Dice of Doom! |

Um, I guess I'd like to roll for negotiating with Darren about when the permits would be ready.
Charisma (3) + Influence Group (1) 5,2,2,1 1 hit (well so much for that I guess) |

@Kiedo
Sorry, no help there. @last ... mikeys Yes, it is considered extraterritorial but only by a tenuous agreement. SK has been on good behavior, so the CAS and New Orleans will most likely let the agreement stand. Jack would know that the security system is one of the SK corp designs. He won't know specifically what without more work. He will also know that the building (not one he has inflitrated) security system is an Ares model 4XKJ-2070. The system is top of the line for municipalities and considered a high grade for A and AA corp offices. @JDragon Hack'd has general information about how corporations set up and plan matrix security. His matrix information is a little out of date but the general concpets are still valid. He will know that the internal matrix is most likely disconnected from the outside matrix. Given his knowledge of sec policy, he would tend to believe that the fourth floor down is indeed a buffer zone / holding cell / security checkpoint / staging area / etc. Specifics to SK are a little fuzy but they would have standard guards and at least one advance tatics team. @Everyone Smilin Jack sent me an email saying that he would be unable to continue to play Caz due to being out of town for a while. Since Caz was a military type, my question to the group is this: Do we request someone to fill the role, turn Caz into a NPC (not really my favorite option) or let Caz bow out of the run after increasing everyone elses share? |

Aw, the only person Wes knew. Oh well, my vote goes to her bowing out. I think Wes and Rooster can handle the intel at the musuem fairly well and unless she had a unique role in the group that we will need, I think we'll be fine.

Alternatively, if someone has a contact with a similar skill set maybe let them bring in their contact on the job?

Well I don't know anyone to bring in.
Unless you think its really going to hurt us I would say have the character bow out and we'll take care of the job. JDragon |

My personal take would be to let them bow out. You all have the skills needed for this run and I imagine that you have all the skills needed for where I think this is going right now.
When the SK group is finished for the night, I will set up the next day on the IC post. |

I'm still here. :-)
I'm going to be on the road the next two days or so, but will be back late sunday night. Hack'ed will meet the SK group in the morning to do any live recon of the building they come up with that we need. JDragon |

Ok all, I need a little feedback. With JDragon (Hack'd) out of pocket for the next couple of days do you want me to change the day and start the recon on the museum and the office building? I can supply JDragon with OOC information on what Hack'd would know IC.
Just let me know and I will post your decision on Saturday (tomorrow). |

Doing a data search on the museum area, looking for the security rating so I'll know what armor and weapons would be appropriate to carry.
2,5,3,4,5,5: 3 hits 1st minute 6,6,3,5,1,2: 3 hits, 2nd minute |

Guess I should roll what I know about the system...
Matrix Security Procedures: 6, 5, 5, 3 And if it helps, guess Background: Pre crash decking to recall what typical security was like before the crash.... Background: Precrash decking: 6, 5, 3, 1 |

@Whizbang
I assume that you mean the building security system for the SK offices - the 4XKJ-2070. This is what Zelda would know: As Jack stated, it is the top of the line for munipalities and is not far off the mark for A and AA corps. It is relatively new - having come out this year (2070). It has an decent decision-making algorithm and relys on motion sensors, pressure pads, cameras, (normal, IR & on some models ultrasound). The only known weakness that has been discovered so far is that the basic installation does not take the building utilities into high regard. Ususally the system requires a security rigger to get the full benefit. Since Zelda doesn't know exactly what SK is running on their own floors she can backtrack to Pre-Crash info and will remember that Sk doesn't play nice. Black IC, physical booby traps, etc. @Nikoli Rooster discovers thet a comm in the area is required to be in passive mode at minimum (open mode is recommended). Weapons are highly restricted in this area. Pistols with permit are allowed; however, anything else is restricted. Stun weapons are permitted and a permit will prevent an hassles. The museum policy is restricted to no weapons. As far as armor goes, the general guideline is that anything with a ballistic / impact rating less that 2 / 2 is good to go. The urban explorer jumpsuit has been given a thumbs up for delivery personel and paranoid tourists. @All I took the family out today so I wasn't in to post much. Be back full time on Monday. |

SO let me make sure we are all on the same page here....
Group 1: Is checking out the musem so we can plan that. Group 2: is just gathering information remotely, via contacts and the matrix for the data steal at S&K? JDragon |
