... Yet. As far as I'm concerned, grown adults who play dress up are scum - be they Trekkies, LARPers, Furries, etc. But Furries just creep me out more than even LARPers. |

You know you say that, but you know what they bill GenCon as? That's right. A bunch of lunatics who like to dress up, swing around swords and pretend they're Knights rescuing damsals from dragons, or worse, a bunch of REALLY crazy lunatics who like to dress up and pretend they're cybernetically-augmented criminals. Every fandom has it's extremists. I like Furry stuff, most especially the porn - though I stay the hell away from actually conversing with many furries, because of the beforementioned extremists. I've never even considered going to a con or getting dressed up. Why? Why the hell should I? Think before you open your yaps. The morons wearing Fursuits are like the guys who LARP Shadowrun with glock-19s and blanks in empty warehouses. The rest of us just eye them askance and go the other way. Oh, and for the record, I've seen the abovementioned hermaphroditic centaur porn. It's really not all that. If you've lived through tubgirl, goatse, or a flurry of gurochan material, you've seen far worse. Get a grip and STFU. |

Haha .... I just got my wife interested in playing shadowrun.,... so we play once a week. We are at the point where we need more players so that we can have a more complicated run. There was a look of fear in her eyes as she recanted memories of people that openly called themselves gamers in high school. I nodded and told her that I fear those people as well, and that those people are generally shunned by everyone.
