Etiquette to seem relaxed and confident in this tough-guy dive. I was going to subtract two dice for improper clothes, but the comment you made IC about the people here being used to biz going down prompted me to give myself the benefit of the doubt. All my rolls are in the order I rolled them, left to right, so of course feel free to add or subtract modifiers from the right.

Charisma + Etiquette = 9 dice

2 2 1 3 2 1 3 5 2 = 1 success

Bahaha. I am having alot of fun reading people's response to my chick. I hope once the bullets start flying she will start getting some respect. You would think with magic and cybertechnology people wouldnt judge others by appearence as quickly. I guess it can be a good thing to be underestimated.

Blitz i edited my earlier post so that it jives more with the flow, rather than post again (out of sequence). It's nothing major just me getting to the table.

You have got to be joking?!

I assumed you wanted that response from the way she was dressed. I don't know very many cultures that hold a high regard for tarts. ;) But I think if she can pull her weight everyone will overlook her appearance. We all are shadowrunners for one reaon or another and a open dresscode is a good selling point for this form of self-employment. :D

Ok guys, dont hate me, but Im gonna leave it here before getting to into your first task. Im leaving for Gencon shortly (have a terrible red-eye flight) and need to take a nap, then pack and get outta here so I wont be posting again for a bit.

I should return on next Monday. Give me a day to rest from the trip and expect a bump on Tuesday. If you're coming to GenCon, find me and say hi :) (I go by Blue everywhere but here :))

I did a Intuition + Yakuza establishments and got only one hit, so unless I'm out of bounds Blitz, i figured he'd know that he works around the Yak's "Girls" but didnt score high enough to know he's just muscle. So i went with the most obvious thing Johnny'd think, that the big guy is a street pimp. Again, if you think that's way off let me know.

Welcome back Blitz. Hope you had fun.

-the johnson is gonna give us toys and we only have to reimburse her if we "use" them? Did you mean we only have to reimburse you for stuff we keep or lose? Or literally use, as in now the guns we killed all those corp guys with are now dirty?

-is her opening done now and can we ask questions or was that just a teaser until the next post.

She's currently waiting for everyone to acknowledge the terms as acceptable before moving forward.

The reimbursment means that she will help you obtain any gear you need, and if you use the gear directly in completing the mission, you will be reimbursed the cost of the item.

@ my team mates.

I already have some idea's on tactical things some of you could be doing in game terms. Im not sure if i should just blert them out here or if whoever is planning on being the leader would feel like i am stepping on their toes and taking away from their position. They might feel like i solved the problem for them or something.

On the other hand i dont wanna be sitting here for days on end waiting for others to bring stuff up.

So I would like to know if anyone would object to me just listing my suggestions.

Abbandon - by all means - I am sure all of us welcome all suggestions from any quarter, especially ooc.
Personally, I feel planning sessions go MUCH faster OOC, and then we can post the highlights of our powwow IC. Personally.

Blitz - would be delighted to have full-size images. I can't figure out the fancy anti-spam way of doing this, but I'm not real worried about it...

@Blitz I was trying to say IC that Die would rather get any equipment she might need herself rather than through the johnson because of the possability of the stuff being tagged with RFID's.

How anal are you going to be about forensics. Do we have to wear body condoms and ski masks or can we not reasonably worry about that stuff and only worry about immedeate reprisals.

Team suggestions(open to all):

That's a fine line you'll have to walk at your own risk. She's offering you an option for gear aquisition. If you are paranoid enough not to trust her source, then by all means, track down your own gear. She not paying for it though.

Im not going to tell you that you'll never have to worry about what forensics you leave behind. You wont always have CSI breathing down your necks, but if you do something high profile enough, who's to say what sort of investigating team will be looking at whatever you leave behind.

Abbandon - Don't let me turn you off to giving suggestions, cause that's always good. However, I am curious as to what point getting pics of Mack and her vehicle serves?

Blitz, thank you so much for the pix. You thus doom yourself to future annoying questions about them.
For now, however, I worked up a 2067 calendar, which shows the 15th as a Tuesday. Can you confirm that for our game?

A jammer will block out any tags(location bugs) as long as it is as powerful or more powerful than the tag itself. (Your resident master of the larcenous arts, has just that gear...hopes anyways) That's also why i asked if it needed to stay in the crate/container, because a tag is most likely on that and not the item itself. (per normal shipping regs)[From the now outdated Underworld Soursebook page 17 in a add on passage by Rider Belle]

That being said, a proper thief would use the warehouse computer to locate the most lucrative loot (our cover for the computer being used, as well as a good way to find the high yen items)
