Okay, let me see if I have this right: They're bringing the rust monster to SR?

Well, all it needs is two tentacles that spring from its back and a fondness for meatshields with swords.

Yeah, the spray catalyst only worked on one particular formulation of plasteel, and would turn it gummy for several hours. But that knowledge was passed around, and the company issued a recall. So, of course, no one in their right mind still uses it. But because so much of it was put on the market, there's a chance an older, lower-security, or just plain poorer facility might still be using it. And, though it's not likely that a corportate or institutional magic-user would have a homonculus made of Plasteel-7... that powerful, but low-rent caster might have gotten less of a bargain on all that surplus plasteel than they thought they did.

I thought that Plasteel-7 was a conspiracy. Sell a product that you know has obvious shadow uses, flood the larket with it, then hit the road and start selling the catalyst on the black market for BIG BUCKS. Sounds like a 'runner founded corp to me.

The bad part of a plasteel homonculus is if an opponent gets their hands on some of that plasteel dissolving spray. Spray that thing with a bottle of that and then just watch it ooze around :D hehe

How about a homonculus made out of gelatin? Just make it cube shaped and hope no-one throws a fireball at it :D

I would personally take one of these babies http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_Lorean_DMC-12 and soup it up with a Porsche engine, nice 20-inch tires, an eardrum bursting sound system (cranking out all those great 80's songs), remote-controlled doors and probably some other crazy-ass improvements that would make me the envy of all nerds around :D HAHA!

Can a Spirit of Air hurl lightening bolts with enough power to activate a Flux Capacitor? If so, I see this setup being very useful.

Sorry, Exodus, you're wrong. They can make artificial diamonds, in industrial and gem qualities.
