Show them the picture from that SR3 book, I can't remember which, which shows a lesbian elf and a lesbian human making out with their breasts bare.

Cannon Companion page 59? ;)

There are a lot of good choices, and also a lot of bad ones, but I think I'm going to have to go with the cover of Queen Euphoria.

This one just for fun.

This one pretty much describes the roles quick and easy for starters.

This is the only copy (one of mine) that I can find. Normally, I don't show folks the one that highlights my username

And this one just to let them know what their future holds....then I explain they aren't the guy with the gun.

Underworld sourcebook picture is pretty great, but I prefer to show them the Vindicator Minigun picture from the old card game. Can't find a copy of the pic other than the thumbnails on Google Image Search, though.

Edit: remembering that I'd just posted in the thread would help cut down on double-posting.

Sprawl Survival Guide, page 50.

Only SR art I've ever liked.

As an aside, that's not lesbian elves; that is a lesbian elf with an old fashioned human.

Also, no, I'm not dead. Things have been kind of crazy.

Smell a Rat? Shadowrunners encounter a genetically-altered nightmare beneeth the Seattle Streets.

Why? Because its just so funny. They look like 2 D&D LARPers who bit off more than they could chew.

Likewise, Street Magic p.77 holds a special place in my heart because it proves that people who believe that White Wolf roleplaying games are a serious guide to performing magic will be no less dorky when they are proven right.

Can't think of the title or artist right now, but I like the picture of the magician in the alley with the Acme Magic Circle paint.

And the pic of SR3's Weapon Specialist archetype.

Waay back now, in the days of the ShadowRun T-shits, there was one called "Smiley All Over", I believe.

It had the pic from Pg. 9, SR2 Core Rulebook (Opposite THE YEAR IS 2053).

...Interior art:

Canon Companion (don't remember which page) but the one with the guy in the APC looking at the rocket about to impact on the side.

His expression: Priceless

Cover Art:

Have to go with the original BBB as well. This is what shadowrunning is all about.

A close second is Paradise Lost. Be there! Aloha!

In the second ed. book, it's by Bradstreet, the one with three guys hunkered down behind a car while bullets go wizzing by. At the beginning of the combat chapter I believe, I'd look but my stuffs heading over to Korea.

I like the image in MitS (I think?) of the spellslinger after his spell has blown up in his face.

Aside from that, nearly everything from Cybertechnology (though that Eye-Lights picture... wtf) I like as examples of what the 'ware looks like.
