Nah not yesterday, maybe tonight. But if you visted you would laugh out loud about the way people talk about the city here. That Saturday night live skit holds some truth to the south side and suburban superfans who claim chicago.

Me I'm one of those normal northsiders who make fun of those who embrace the stereotype.

Back to Pendragon... Whats the word on the Lyonese island? I know its on a Ley line (is that the same as a mana power site) but other than that does it mean anything?

The British Isles are riddled with Ley Lines (synonymous with Dragon Lines in Asia). Every second ruined castle and old monastery is located on some kind of Ley Line or Power Site. I wouldn't worry about too much foot traffic in these kind of sites in relation to the major mojo makin' places like Stonehenge.

A Ley line doesn't need to have a physical manifestation. Many Ley lines run across the earth and only on "crossroads" where two or even more lines meet, exist physical manifestations iirc.

LOL! Chill old man I was just speculating. It was thrown out in the black lodge so i threw it out again in this post. I agree teleporting is probably a no go, it would take so much fun out of the game. But how do you explain the black lodge post in threats if they cant telepot?! Maybe an illusion spell of some sort. Geesh!

Otalu Mike did some smooth stuff in France w/ the Lodge. Check that stuff out. Ignore teleportation. Investigate at your peril. :S

...no self respecting bloke would ever even think of telepoting. It's not very cricket to mess with one's tea, not much less the crumpets and marmalade.

Members of the Black Lodge are spirits, which explains the "pure magic" BS, the "teleportation", and the fact that the Penultimate Master no longer shares an astral contact with his fellows.

The rite of ascendance to the title of Penultimate Master is actually simply an inhabitation ritual that leaves the lodge member's skills in the hands of a powerful spirit.

Penultimate Masters never die, because they are already dead.

You mistake me. I meant wishful thinking on the part of the Lodge itself, not yourself. I am thoroughly enjoying all the different aspects you bring into the equation. :)

Aaaahhhhh memories if it wasnt for those bastards I would never play roleplaying games. You gotta love em but hate there guts at the same time

Having once profiled the true origins of the Black Lodge in an unpublished appendix to the Vigilia Evangelica, I can only say that's one take on it. Mine was slightly different though it had points in common - as fistandantilus will attest.

I've avoided posting it on the net in the hope that one day I'll get to tell that story officially. That being said I don't think it will happen in the forseeable future, so I might just post it here... if I can dig it up.
