A little late here, but maybe you have a slot for one more guy? And if so, what kind of party mix are we looking at? I can play more or less anything, but I already have a Hacker and a Face going elsewhere, so something else would be cool, if it meshes.

Yeah, a fourth is always nice. We have two mages, a street sam, and a hacker/street sam....we could really use basically anything. And yes ther is room for another right now, but I need your concept and sheet asap.

Kerrigan

Kerrigan is an attractive young woman in her mid-twenties. She is of average height and has a slender and willowy figure, with shoulder-long, ash-blonde hair, usually worn open or in a pony tail, and green eyes. Kerrigan mostly dresses in black, but her wardrobe also includes a wide range of fancy clothes. Her standard dress consists of trendy, washed-out denim pants, a black halter top, fashionable black leather boots with modest heels and her black, waisted mid-thigh length coat. On her left wrist she often wears a silver bracelet with intricate engravings, and there are a few rings on her fingers at most times.

Kerrigan is a street shaman, following the raven totem. Before she became a shadowrunner, she was living on the streets of Fargo already, but with her talent, that didn't remain so for long. The money she earned was gone as quick as she got it, though, most of it spent on better equipment and some conveniences, and so she was never shy to take a new job, needing a somewhat steady income. Kerrigan also has some minor 'ware implanted, which might not have been the best decision of her career, but when she's not complaining about what it has done to her, she most often does welcome what the implants offer.

As a mage, Kerrigan has a wide range of abilities to offer for her team. Spells to cause wounds or to make them disappear, turn someone invisible, or let him/her fly, and she can also bend others to her will, as well as Spirits, and she isn't half bad with a gun either.

(will add more later)

Bye

There's a woman you know. Sometimes she calls herself Belle. Sometimes she calls herself Donna. She's attractive in a 'hot mom' kind of way, and seems to be in her mid 30s. Her hair is short and dark and cut in what would have been a corporate fasion 10 years ago.

She seems to suffer from some manner of multiple-personality disorder. The personality that manifests more frequently is Belle, a pleasant woman with some measure of hacking skill. She seems to function fairly well enough in a scrap and is very helpful when it comes to some of the more domestic parts of legwork. She'll even cook for the whole team, provided she has the ingredients. Belle dresses conservatively and in a fasion that befits a woman of her age and profession.

There are times though, when things are going really, really bad, she'll snap and go by a different moniker: Donna. Donna is unbelievably fast, dangerous, and seemingly fearless. The problem is that when Belle switches over, it takes considerable time for her to switch back. When going by Donna, she won't hack at all, and will give funny looks to anyone that suggests that she can. Her style of dress changes to a more modernist manner and her attitude is likewise completely different.

Belle knows she has a problem. She knows that activiating key components of her cyberware are the root source of her personality shifts. Her studies in hacking and medicine are partially an attempt to understand her change. She often worries about what Donna does, and has no memories of her activities when Donna is in charge. These shifts sometimes cause trouble for the group, but her two combined personalities have each proven useful to the group on numerous occasions.

Belle has hinted in the past that she had a family. She is also very nice to younger ork and troll members of the group (if there are any).

Noticing Akita is a challenge in and of itself. Not because she's particularly bland or stealthy, but because she's just the sort of person who is happiest in the background, part of the comfortable noise (or silence) of everyone else's life.

A very laid-back young woman in her early twenties with an easy smile and a dreamy look to the eyes, Akita dresses like she behaves. In well-worn pedestrian garments; a nondescript shirt, her favorite denim jeans, and a good solid pair of waterproof work-site boots - not because she's got love for construction but the realities of living in Fargo with the snow and whatnot. She keeps her hair naturally toned in its orange-ish red shade tied up and out of the way in a loose tail, which is further held down by an old black wool knit cap she picked up from the surplus store. The cap and Akita are practically inseperable.

Life on the streets that she never really left made it so Akita didn't have much in life apart from her flat, her knit cap, maybe some food when work picked up, and her talents with magic. Given that, she's learned to treasure relationships far more than tangible objects - she's the sort to go down to the wire for you, even if she knows you wouldn't do the same.

Despite being so laid back, Akita knows the score when it comes to running. She's a good support caster and far happier helping out her team-mates or healing them then engaging in combat - though, make no mistake, that doesn't preclude her from being quite vigorous in actively defending them from harm. Her totem, Dog, meshes well with her personality and lends to her deep devotion to friends and team-mates.

Halfpast

Human male standing 6'1' tall, muscular and his amerindian heritage is obvious. His eyes are grey and one can tell by looking in them that they have already seen a lot even though he is still a young man. He wears his black hair shoulder length and loose. His clothes are worn but serviceable and are of a military style. Halfpast looks like he is a cross between a squatter and a low level ganger.

Personality wise he is easy to get along with, as long as no one tries to boss him around. He has been known to be stubborn about his beliefs and slow to change his opinion. When he gets drunk though he sometimes has a violent streak. Knowing this he tries to drink in moderation but sometimes you have to let loose.

Halfpast is not from Fargo but the only thing he says about it is that he has drifted through a lot of different places. The only time he talks about his past is when he is making vague references to previous jobs to help highlight a point about a current job.

His on the job skills best come out when using firearms or hand to hand combat. His only piece of obvious cyberware are his cyberspurs and datajack. Anyone watching him in action though can tell that there is more beneath the hood than nature gave him. He also has a knack for dealing with others in the biz.

Hey,

I'm sorry, but I'm having serious problems coming up with a character that would fit with this group, so I'm going to pull out before I make something retarded.

Sorry, and enjoy the game guys!

Buscemi is best described as cagey. He's got a perpetual look of guilt that may or may not be well earned, depending on who you ask. Buscemi stands just a shade over average human height, with a suprisingly athletic build. He's got thinnning brown hair and lively grey eyes, with hands wrung clean. Buscemi tends to dress in wayward fashions, to suit his various hobbies, most of wich are quite antiquated. No one's quite sure when he arrived on the scene in Fargo, but it was said the devil was on his back. Others whisper of unpaid gambling debts and former Vory handlers who are quite unhappy that one of their sponsered hackers flew the coop. All that can be said for sure is that Buscemi is a man wroght with bad habits. He smokes old fashioned cigarettes, drinks hard liquor, indulges in hookers and a little recreational blow when he can get it. The one thing he seems loathe to touch are BTLs, despite keeping a few on hand for appearances. Still, for all his habits he's a solid backup in a fight, and he's got a way of talking his way out of trouble. When it comes to hacking, he'll get the job done, he's just a wee bit blunt about it. He's more of a snatch and grab type than the sneaky type, just like in real life.

I want to reopen this for anyone wanting to jump into an already started game. We have recently fallen to 3 players and it is general consensus that we would like to bring more players into the game. I am looking for about 2 or 3 more players, so bring in a concept and we will see if you will work.

I see that it is a 4th Edition game, but perhaps you could take in a 3rd Edition player?

Samples of some of my earlier work can be found at:
http://forums.dumpshock.com/index.php?showtopic=7784
http://forums.dumpshock.com/index.php?showtopic=8831

These games stalled, so I consider the characters available. They are, respectively:

Steve – A down-on-his-luck former security guard
Chris – An elf infiltration/intelligence adept

If either of these characters interest you let me know and I’ll convert the stats and get you a char sheet. They are both in Seattle, but timelines may need to be matched.

As a player herein I'd like to make a few comments.

- We would like to keep a reasonable post rate. To that end, characters whose players disappear tend to have real bad things happen to them. We are all signed on for that. RL happens. If you join and are going to be AFK, please let the GM know so we can keep the game going.

- We currently have a close combat physical adept, a street sam and a street shaman. We need hacker and a face.

- Our characters are without contacts where we are going. We need to hook up with characters who initially carry the load in regards to contacts. Seattle is as good as anyplace.

Color me INTERESTED.

I'll see about whipping up a face/magician here in a moment; gotta pick or create a good tradition that relies on willpower+charisma, too.

I'll have a further detailed concept up shortly.

*Given, you have a street shaman, but I just like magicians. Worst case scenario, I'll do a hacker/face, if someone else doesn't want to pick up the hacking slacking.

Actually, Chris would make a decent face, (even though he doesn’t keep the same one for long) so although Redjack mentioned nothing of a mage…

Just a thought, it’s Trigger’s game

It may be my game, but I rely on my current players for input as well. It isn't just going to be deciding this one. Post up a concept with some more meat in it and possibly a sheet (even a highly rough one), give us something more to look at.

Scratch the last version of this post.

I'll work up an Elven dedicated face, with some combat ability thrown in on the side.
EDIT: Make that a HUMAN, Elf Poser with cosmetic surgery face. Just for fun.

QUOTE (Meeting)

Standing before you is a slim elven man, casually flipping a silver coin end over end. For a moment, he doesn’t speak, just stares at you from behind a pair of red-tinted glasses, sizing each of you up and determining what, if anything, to say. He is extremely well dressed, clad in a finely cut suit of some gray silken material, but he still has his rifle sling over one shoulder, hanging down behind his back. He’s a cautious one, it seems.

Finally, he flips the coin one last time, tucking it into a vest pocket, and reaches up to remove his glasses. “Thank you for meeting with me, he said, his voice melodic and careful. “I know this is somewhat…irregular. However, I have heard you needed a companion, though a mutual friend of ours, and I have just left my previous position. From all accounts, you are relatively well thought of, and from what I’ve been told…Let’s just say that I think you have potential, hmm?

Crossing his arms before him, he looks at each of you, firmly in the eye, and you can tell; he’s perfectly comfortable facing down multiple people, each of whom could probably kill him, in a darkened alleyway where no one could come to his aid. He keeps cool and composed, speaking of his abilities and specialties, and beaming over bits of information and references, making the case for bringing him in to the team.

“Anything you lot particularly need to know? Ask, and if it’s something I am comfortable sharing, you shall receive. I understand the need for frankness in this situation, as we are about to be working together in rather hostile circumstances. No doubt your team hacker is somewhere around here, attempting to or already managing to pilfer through my files. I am an open book, my friends, he adds, a slight smile remaining on his face.

EDIT: Working version of Alexander thus far. Any comments/suggestions?

@Trigger – I PM’d you, got your reply, and replied myself. I’m not trying to play both sides by posting here, you should do what you think is best. I’m just giving the group a taste…

I’ll let Chris speak for himself:
QUOTE

Chris pauses for a moment, trying to gauge the reactions of the assembled group, before continuing:
"I don’t know any of you, and I have no reason to trust any of you, but I need the job. By the same token, none of you know me or have any reason to trust me, but I suspect that you need the job also.

I am a spy. I use impersonation to infiltrate a target and gather intelligence or spread misinformation. I am able to mimic voices and faces well enough to get past non-biometric security means. For the duration of this job you may call me Chris Anderson."
