Okay, it's canon that 25 immortal elves exist. I don't have Threats at hand so I can't check if it was about 25 or exactly 25. But it really doesn't make much difference, because AFAIK only 11 of them are known, 12 if you believe that Jenna Ni'Fairra is Alachia's daughter, not the bloody queen herself.
But where are the rest of them? There's about a dozen of immortal elves running around that nobody knows about. Couple of them are probably in Azania, but being oh-so-powerful as they are, I can't believe that none of them would have any influence with the megacorps. So, let the speculation begin! Is Nadja Daviar one of them? Poor Juan of Aztlan? Domingo Ramos? Glasgian? Liam O'Connor? |

Liam O'Connor is a safe bet, imo.

Some could be in the Tir Na Nog faction. Since most SR material relating to IEs deal with Tir Tairngire and North America, they just haven't been introduced to us Yanks yet.
Edit: Although, being a faction unto oneself is almost integral to being an IE. :P |

Glasgian Oakforest - hmm, wasn't he around in the Bloodwood-sourcebook? Have to check that.

No, you're thinking of his father, Aithne Oakforest.

Did you include Fortune on the list?
And maybe a few have been knocked off, eh? The Inmortal Orks vs the Immortal Elves? |

There is no immortal ork. Or immortal dwarf. Why is it no one ever talks about an immortal troll, hmm? You're all racist.

Would the downcycle hunter that Sirrurg fried on the plane be counted among the 'infamous 25'?
Incidently, where do you get this exact, definitive number? |

The original Threats said 25. Given we've slightly over a dozen 'confirmed' IEs, that still leaves a fair number of open slots.

You know what the problem with being immortal is? The longer you live the greater the odds that you'll get hit by a falling girder.

Denial eh? What are you trying to cover. Why shouldn't there be immortal anything else? It would be fun and interesting, particularly with how Garlthrik has done it. |

Source(s), please. Tír na nÓg for SR2 says only that Liam went off the grid, apparently having Walked the Path of the Rígh back to the Northern Islands. |

Common sense. Tir Na Nog says he lead a resistance force that knew how to perform elemental strikes in 2011-12. Plain old spike babies were born before the Awakening, but they weren't gifted with instantaneous trained magical ability the day Ryumyo woke up. |

I'm not sure about that. There's some shadowtalk in Tír na nÓg speculating that Liam's own book, Walking to the Light, which detailed the Paths, was written from memories of his past lives. It's my understanding that immortal elves are not reincarnated, but rather are immortal in the sense of never dying. Is that not the case? |

Tanegar - that is my understanding. But then you must also understand that a person can be said to have multiple lives that are corporeally and contemporaally concatenated - IE, you stop being someone and become someone else when you take up a new identity on a permenant basis.
IE: If we assume that Shakespear was an IE, then the life of the Bard would be said to be one of that given IE's "past lives". Plus, I'm pretty sure there's at least one IE out there who goes by the alias 'Ancient History'. I mean, the bugger knows too much not to be an IE - otherwise someone would've dropped a girder on him. |

Dude, their elves - hence they lie their asses off every time they open their mouths. It's habitual. Also explains the need for a higher than average Charisma ;) |

I was hoping. I was kinda proud of it. I was also curious about that, though - wouldn't there be groups out there specifically dedicated to taking out the IEs? I mean, seriously - they're like elves x1000. You probably just want to hit them in the face as soon as you're within a mile of them, right? |

But the average joe doesn't know about immortal elves. Lone Gunman might be the only mortal that knows of their existence, at least when you read the Threats chapter about them, it seems that the majority of the shadowposters think he's crazy. Dragonhunters, on the other hand, know that the dragons indeed did hibernate, as Dunkelzahn told the world about it in Wyrm Talk, IIRC. There are also many myths concerning dragons and none concerning immortal pointy ears, AFAIK. |
