No first aid, so Halfpast will just hang out until someone better qualified shows up.

Kerrigan is on the way... :)

QUOTE (Digital Heroin @ Feb 12 2007, 09:47 PM)
I'm gonna try and get my sorry head back into the mix of thing here... and I'm sorely tempted to leave my AIM with someone to kick me in the head should I not post regular-like... I dig the vibe of this game seriously, and dig Buscemi... my brain's been distracted a lot lately...

No posts to the board since the 15th for Digital Heroin.. Did another player go into the wind?

Alright will do, I will proclaim that Buscemi stalled his action to see what was going to happen with the spirit and the Russian...

The spirit of Man is next and it attacks the Russian with a Manabolt 1 Hit

Russian Resistance: 1 Hit

He takes 3P damage.

On his turn the Russian tries to run away, making a Running test to increase his speed.

1 Hit

It is now the next IP and I believe that Kerrigan's Spirit of Air is up, and it has now appeared from the other side of the library and can act against those on the back side of the building.

With a running speed of 75 (triple that of a human) the spirit should be able to catch the russian, I suppose (that's the service, it will ignore anything else there; except for self-defense, I guess).

So, under that assumption, I will roll for the attack this round...

EDIT: I just realize, though, maybe the spirit cannot attack yet...

Has the spirit even materialized yet? Probably not, if it just reached the other side of the library; so it will just materialize now (2nd IP, and thus forego the 3rd IP, which is only available astral), somewhere near the russian, and attack next round then...

Here's the Attack (for when the next action comes up then):

The Russian dodges out of the way of your spirit of an extremely lucky roll of 4 hits out of 6 dice.

Next up is Bump and then Halfpast.

*edit* Just saw Thanee's edit thus that roll above is negated

LOL

Just keep the rolls for the next action, when the attack actually happens. It's fine with me.

P.S. BTW, my comment about the lucky roll was more aimed at my own really crappy roll, not the edit. :D

No problem...now if we can only get everyone else to post with these kinds of response times we may actually get somewhere (preferably out of Fargo) before next year.

Kerrigan's 2nd IP is spent running towards the back entrance, just like the first.

..Next up is Bump..

Bump's action is to run out the back door following Halfpast towards the vehicles... Unless the Russian or someone gets in his way he'll run back towards the rest of the team.

Halfpast is not running back to the vehicles. he carried Dawna a small ways away from the backdoor and is trying to apply pressure to the wound. he will flag down Bump to draw the trolls attention.

Several questions come to mind right now, one for the character and one for the player:
1) Is there a healing spell in the party?
2) Is Dawna's Player still around and committed to regular posting?

As already said... Kerrigan is on the way. Just hold out!

She is a highly skilled (read: when she is lucky) doctor (ask Halfpast :D) and has healing magic available, of course. :)

Just to be sure, Kerrigan isn't exactly a doctor... I just rolled ridiculously well when healing Halfpast's one box of damage some time ago. But she has First Aid and a Medkit. It's clear, that this time I will get a critical glitch... ;)

Alright, the Spirit of Man Manabolts the Russian again on the second IP

3 Hits
Drain: 5 Hits

Resistance from Russian: 0 Hits

The Russian takes another 6P damage and stumbles during his run...

Alright, roll initiative for next round.

Russian: 9
Spirit of Man: 16

Kerrigan 11 (3 IP)
Spirit of Air 14 (2 IP)

Spirit of Air's first action is already done (failed Engulf attempt).

Actually the Spirit's attack isn't a failure neccesarily, since the Russian has wound mods now and I would have to reroll the dodge anyways. Nevertheless, the Spirit of Man is most likely going first in this round and your spirit may not get the chance to even hit the russian.
