Strangely for a born and bred mobster family, fairly normal, loving and closeknit. His siblings were raucous and bothering but they all generally got on well together and certainly no feuds grew up.

No.

9. Where or how was the character educated?
Educated on the streets and by his parents, mostly in respected for higher positioned mobsters and in combat and bodyguarding.

10. Has the character ever done anything else for a living?
Nope.

11. What are the characters beliefs on church and state?
Devout christian, strangely. Always goes to church on Sundays and to the confessional.

12. Describe the characters Moral code. Include how mercenary he is, whether or not he'll kill innocents, etc.
He will avoid hurting innocents, and as anyone he is sent to press has annoyed the mafia, then they aren't innocent.

13. What are the character have any goals?
For now, to serve well. In the future to start a family and maybe move up in the organisation.

14. Why does the character run the shadows? (Why does he run the shadows still, rather than getting a "real" job?)
His family have been soldiers for the mafia for generations and he knows little else. He does do some side jobs for extra cash but only when his bosses have no need for him.

15. What kind of personality does your character have? This should not necessarily be obviously stated in the background, as it is more important for actually playing the character, but it may color or add mood to the history.
Loyal, honest (when he can be). Quite willing to take a bullet or the fall for his superiors (and has been to prison due to this)

16. What special qualities does the character possess? This does not refer to skills, but rather at other things, such as How he gets along with people, does he plan ahead, etc.
He has had training in how to both interrogate people and also in resisting it. Generally he will manage this with just threats, body langauge and size but will get his hands dirty if necessary.

Not really although he will not kill children unless specifically ordered to and then under protest.

Yakuza, Triads, things or people trying to muscle in on the Family's turf.

Fuller Background

Life is sometimes good and sometimes bad when you're born as the third child in a family of 6 children. And so it was for Luigi Di Rosso, with one elder brother and an older sister he got the benefits of an elder brother teaching him things and his sister babying him but also the downside of always having to try and keep up and survive the dress up inflicted on him.

His childhood and home life was happy and pleasent for the main part, his parents loving and siblings both friendly and annoying (as all siblings tend to be). Mafia life rarely intruded as it had always been there, the family was traditional Mafia through and through, a few had left to pursue other jobs but their loyalty was always to family so no trouble ever came from it.

Luigi not being gifted mentally learnt mostly from his father seeing little point in learning more than the basics at school. Being able to write his name and add up short columns of numbers was plenty for a boy troll who was already planning his career following his father in bodyguarding the bigger bosses, it was what the Di Rosso's had been doing for generations, even before they proved to be stable Trollish stock. Which was why it was sucha shock that the soxth child, George, was born as a very small baby.... a human. Life for a human child, and the youngest, in a troll family of boysterous children would be hard but Luigi always had a soft spot for George and this further eroded his school work as he tended to skip it to help out George.

Eventually, of course, he reached the age were he could really start helping out in the Family business and he proved his reliablity early and often. In the early years it was merely errand and message running, but later, and thanks to awakening to his magical abilities, he moved on to a range of jobs that being a large, strong troll was of benefit. It also had the advantage of giving Luigi a wide experience of the many activities that the Family was involved in and the attempted predations on their business.

Once he achieved his fulll growth he was placed under Julian Mancuso, a Capo Regime, in the New Orleans families. Serving as a messenger and rising to occational bodyguarding, Luigi really proved his loyalty four years previously when he took a bullet to the right shoulder in an attempted hit on the Capo and then later offered, and was accepted, to take the blame and the jail time when the local law enforcement refused to back off.

Refusing to turn state's evidence left Luigi with a bleak outlook of getting a long jail sentence even with his planned guilty plea, but to repay his loyalty the Family organised a very good legal representation and that coupled with time off for good behaviour saw the sentence reduced from Murder to Manslaughter and GBH and Luigi back out of prison in 3 years.

He didn't waste his time in prison either, and instead knowing that he'd be needed afterwards, he used the time as training time. Increasing his fitness and strength, fine tuning his control of his adept powers, and become a proficient boxer. It was also in this time of practice and reflection that he first met his mentor spirit and the wise council of Bear helped him stay true to his methods and come away from the jail term better than he went in.

OOC: Hopefully this should explain his background better and following is a list of his family *8-> I couldn't find a reference to what time the games in so I've gone for direct time reference instead... hence the 'four years ago' rather than a date, below I'm just going with ages for the family rather than birthdates for the same reason although I will list the actual day/month of the birthday so that I can try to remember to get presents at the right times *8->

Physical Description of Luigi:
8'6" about 330kg, heavily muscled with short dark brown hair. He has the mediterranian olive skin of his ancestors and bright green eyes. A pair of horns extend from juust above his temples and sweep back along the sides of his head and come together, almost to a point, just at the base of his skull (extending about an inch or two past the back of his skull). [@GM note: think the head bones on Mimbari in Babylon 5 just not connected to his skull]. Almost always dressed in a smart suit complete with tie and hat, he could almost pass as a business man, but something in the way he moves or looks at people belies that image.
