A week ago I would have thought it no problem ,but Callidus is having some connection issues apparently (again), and SinN is having trouble posting regularly, so things are lagging a bit. Infamous Seattle Cop Killer Caught by NOPS

The New Orleans Police Service earned it's stripes last night, capturing cop killer Jakob Sinner last night in a raid on his drug dealer's apartment. A standard call for shots fired quickly turned in to the raid of the year, when surveillance drones discovered that the suspect was the Seattle cop killer.

Some of our readers may remember that in early 2064, there was an apparent terrorist attack in the Lochlann Center Seattle that resulted in the deaths of over 50 individuals, including the owner of the buidling, the dragon Geyswain. Animated corpes on the site suggest that the attack may have been an attack by renegade voodouns. This picture was obtained by news crews on the scene, leading to a wide spread man hunt.Link

The picture shows Sinn in top hat and tails , his face painted with a death's hand, katana in hand, standing on the head of an apparently dead western dragon. He is lit by a helicopter spot light on a building roof.

For the last six yeras, Lone Star Police Services has been searching for the suspect Sinner, even placing a bounty of :nuyen: 150,000 for information leading to his capture. In addition to the Lochlann Massacre, he and associates are also wanted for the deaths of no less than six Lone Star officers, who were attempting to stop Sinner and his gang from raiding a mortuary for bodies. The same bodies, it is believed, used to carry out the Lochlann Massacre.

The raid occured at 2110 last night, with NOPS dispatching a SWAT unit, and five NOPS combat mages; nearly their entire divsion. What followed is described SWAT sargeant David Abrams as "a brief exchange of high force spell casting from the suspect and our own SWAT mages, which we answered with a standard Tear Gas option." Sinner was later arrested and brought in to NOPS custody.

Also on the scene was the body of apartment resident Samuel West, shot twice at close range with a .9mm, also found on the scene. The murder is apparently attributed to a drug deal gone wrong, according to sources. The apartment bedroom where the body was found was strewn with chips and chemical drugs, including novacoke, which sources tell us Sinner is addicted to.

Jakob Siner is now under heavy police guard within NOPS main HQ, awaiting extradition by Lone Star Services. He will be returned to Seattle, where he still stand trial for the murder of six Lone Star officers, 6 charges of animating a corpse, the murder of the dragon Geyswain, connection to the mass murders of the 52 victims of the Lochlon Massacre , and fleeing arrest. CAS courts will also try him in absentee for the murder of West, as well as potentially drug traffiking charges. Sinner, a SINless elf of unknown origins , has been issued a criminal SIN, which he will likely never use beyond the court systems. If found guilty of the charges, he faces the death penalty. in the interim, he will be housed in BlackStone prison in South Dakota, a prison that sits in a mana warp specifically designed for dangerous murders with magical ability.

Add it all up, apply it to your character. If you have problems with the continuity , where you're getting karma for the run you're doing on the side, seperately with the main game ,just push the button on your keyboard that says "Suspension of Disbelief."

What you need to do is, look at your key board first . Okay, now put your hand over the 'Y' key, open it like you're wayving. Now turn it so that your palm is facing towards you. Got that? Okay, now bring your hand to your forehead very quickly, as the button is right there, but just beneath your skin, so you've gotta hit it kind of hard. Ok, got that now? Now repeat a few times until you've got the knack of it.

F3.0 gave me an invite, so i thought i'd drop in and post a character, Kzhna "J" Sazhin. this is only the second character i've ever built with the finished SR4 rules, so make sure you check her sheet over. i've left in all the costs for everything, to make it easier.

i gave her both bone density and bone lacing, which from what i've read on the forums is rules-legal. if that's not true, let me know. i don't think there are any other questionable items.

also, i really have no idea how you guys handle die rolls or in-character posts. apparently you use text color to differentiate? can somebody link me to a guide, or something?

BACKGROUND
Started out as a ganger on her way to becoming a Vory hitter by route of having a Vory boyfriend. When she got pregnant, he stopped seeing her, so she killed him and fled to Seattle, where she fell in with the Ciarniello family. They helped her get settled during and after her pregnancy; she had a boy, who she named Jeremy. She's an outsider among the Ciarniellos, treated well but not respected. She was dating a soldato there, but when that fell apart, the Ciarniellos loaned her out to New Orleans to give her time to cool off. Currently hoping to get work at a tattoo parlor to supplement her income, so that she can afford to send Jeremy to a good school.

the basic conflict that i'm planning on using to define J is how much she's willing to sacrifice for her son's well-being. if he's in danger, it's generally a no-brainer--she'll do whatever it takes to make him safe. but she might blow her savings on a new bike instead of saving up to send him to school like she wants to; she might leave him at home alone when she goes out clubbing, instead of bothering with a babysitter. she's not gonna sell him for BTLs, but she's definitely not a good mother.

At first glance the character looks good. Be aware though that these characters are farther along, so all new entrants will be made using 500 BP not 400. I know, it sucks, but wacha gonna do? ;)

Nice tie in for the various families. We're actually coming up on a good spot to slide you in. The groups current "run", since they aren't exactly runners (two made men, and a rigger who is an associate), are supposed to be hitting a drug exchange. A Krewe is making a buy or a literal truck laod of bliss from an out of town family moving in without even bothering to ask. They've just found out the krewe has hired some runners for extra security, so cybered back up could be just what the street doc ordered.

Couple questions: How old is the char? How old is the kid?

Also, IIRC, bone lacing/ augmentation is said to be a no-no in the FAQ. But I think that's retarted, so it's ignored. I can't see any logical reason for it to not work, so it does. I'll send you the 20 Q in a bit.

Titanium's only 4 more points up the list. I'll allow it since I'm pretty sure I gave Deva and Callidus a bit of wiggle room as well. There will be better clinics available throughout the game. Deva's character Rayo is trying to organize a hit on CrashCart for a Valkyrie unit from his street doc in exchange for settling a bill on getting some Beta. He may be looking for some extra hands as well.
