maybe pdf magazine subscriptions are the way to go. That way each Issue or couple of issues could adress such things as new settings and the way organizations opperate.

I mean when was the last time you heard anything about Denver that was as cool as the released boxed set? Or got written into cannon because you voted on a dragon? At times it just seems that there are to many meta plot and plot lines going on that hampered your participation in the world.

Canon is a guide like the nightly news that tells GM's and PC's how the world is changing around them for better or for worse. Not that Canon dictates your game but I prefer to be apart of the wolrd as much as possible while going off in another direction or trying differant things that bring me closer to making an impact. Far to often the meta plot dictates the change and not the players.

The Biggest question I would like to see the writers anwer is... "How to make the world change once the PC's have finished their adventures". I think that above all is the most important thing to reconcile.

As for neighborhood descriptions, can you give me some specifics about what you feel is missing from the Districts section of RH? The intent of that section is to inform the GM and players of the feel of each section of the city, so I'm curious what you find missing.

The entire ork underground. Originally, the writeup tied the ork underground into the Great Fire of 1889, permanently linking it into part of Seattle history, and giving it tons of flavor. The new writeup is a vauge descritpion about an attitude, that could be in any city, anywhere.

I wrote a RPG.net review of the book, which says everything I want to. Basically, I think Hong Kong is excellent and shows what a setting book can be; while Seattle shows what it shouldn't try to be.

AH, Grinder: Yes and yes. Still not as cool, IMO, as the revelation of otaku for the first time. In particular, SRM4 hasn't been anything special yet. I'm waiting a bit to see how it develops before passing judgement.

LOL I'm in Chicago the City. We dont have SR missions here, beleive me I have been looking hard. Maybe I should go to FanPro Headquarters (right down the street from me) and ask if they know a group I can join. Think that would fly?

Comando quarterly is good for a 3 to 5 page write up when I want the subtance of a 30 page detailed setting book akin to Seattle, Denver, California, Chicago source books. Granted I know that making the game more global is great but there are already established cities that need to be tied into this global structure or die on the table.

It's impossible for me to say right now which cities will and won't be covered over the upcoming sprawl books, but it's possible that some settings established in the past will not be revisited in detail in SR4. On the flipside of that, there are settings that will be detailed in SR4 that never got much mention in earlier editions.

So a submission for Feral Cities for "Vancouver and the Island," might be possible? Lol.

Depends on the setting. Could be a good thing. I could care less about Quebec personally, and would be happier if they didn't spend any more page count on it. But that's just me.

I would love to see more on most cities. How much canon info is there on New Orleans? Madrid? And a number of other major cities? It's the one thing I really don't like about the setting, they've spent so much time developing a handful of cities that most are lucky if there's even a paragraph.

It's great for making your own setting, don't get me wrong, but having something to build off of helps a lot.

Awww...but how are you supposed to play Jacques the Coureur du Bois if you don't have coverage of Quebec. I have spent many a night trying to figure out how to collect that bounty on dragons.

At least you're just trying to figure out how and not actually trying to do it. Got a reference for that BTW, you just gave me a run idea. SONA?

Yup. I think it's towards the back of the Quebec section.
