Well, it is good to be back in another game again.

For those of you who want soem information on Vamp outside of what your characters may or may not know about him, I posted his sheet and bio in the Cast of Shadows thread, so peruse it at your pleasure.

I edited my IC post to something a bit more IC for Vamp, using his social skills to try and get something more out of this. I will post up my dice rolls when I get into work later today.

Ok, I need to make things clear about the 4k thing. The job is an 8k job (a 40k job with 5 people cashing in actually). Amok, EatMe and PartyTime have already received 4k from certified credsticks, the remaining 4k should be awarded on completion of the task. For the new characters joining in, it's a different story though. Since the remaining pay-out is still 20k, all they're entitled to is the remaining 4k, the 8k given to Esteban and Holden having obviously been lost. Sonic is aware of that, and thus only advertises it as a 4k job to the newcomers, who are about to join to others.

This being said, I feel like things should get moving on apart from the unavoidable absenses of summertime. I won't be around between july 19 and jul 26 and also a week in mid-august around the 15th or so. It would be good to know what the unavailabilities are going to be like for everyone during the summer (northern hemisphere summer I guess, heh).

EatMe is sleeping, so I'm good to skip to the Starbucks because that means less posts, and it's assumed that he'll take Amok and PartyTime with him in his Honda Spirit, if RedJack is okay with rock, paper, scissoring for who gets front seat, and who gets the cramped back seat. Heh. Oh yeah, forgot.

Welcome back Trigger... By the way, expect things to go from serious to very not if you don't find a way to blind EatMe for whenever your character is in sight, heh. And thanks for joining us Carny.

Yeah. A bit before 10, in Sweeper's case, so he can exercise his compulsive urge to methodically scope out that oh-so-dangerous Starbuck's before the meet.

It's more about what you're gonna do out there, considering the last time a character tried to buy coffee. Maybe EatMe's going to consider drinking the next coffee cup he gets. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Physical Mark F5: [3,1,1,6,2,3,4,1,4] + [1,4] = 1 hit
Resist Drain DV3: [2,5,5,1,4,4,4,4] = 2 hits, 1 box drain
Drop spell, recast

Physical Mark F5: [4,1,2,5,2,4,3,6,4] + [2,4] = 2 hits
Resist Drain DV3: [4,2,3,5,6,6,4,1] = 3 hits, no drain
Drop spell, recast

Physical Mark F5: [6,4,2,3,3,3,5,6,6] + [5,4]= 5 hits
Resist Drain DV3: [4,2,5,1,5,5,5,3] = 4 hits, no drain
Sustain.

Perhaps someone who looks like him should buy the coffee instead?

Are you looking for something specific other than just being alert to your surroundings?

I'll post in IC the description of the place, but I would add a detailed spoiler if you want something extra.

Just being alert to surroundings, mostly. Given his background, maybe a very general assessment of security threats, if there are any, besides us runner types.

I'm not sure what all that rolling was about, but it didn't look good... Yes, he would love some SoyKaf right now, but a venti is not going to be enough.

Could everyone please post - or pm me - the equipment their PC is carrying. You may include that list in a spoiler in IC if you like.

If you want you can pm me alternate equipment lists that your character typically uses in specific foreseeable situations.

PartyTime assensing the new teammates:
- Vamp : [2,4,6,5,5,6,5] = 5 hits
- Sweeper : [3,1,4,1,5,5,2] = 2 hits

@Gobogen
I took creative liberties with both Sonic's reply and finding a table. I assumed that would be ok since neither are really game impacting. Let me know if thats an issue.

I'll try to answer everything, I hope I don't miss any. Will post IC later on.

In general in the future, if someone wants to observe in detail, tell me how many dice you think you have and let me roll myself, since for you to know the number of successes and the presence or absense of a glitch affectf the way you treat the information.

@Carny: With the help of a select sound filter and some audio enhancement, you can hear distinctly what is being said at the table, through the terrible noise in the cafe. You notice something odd about the movements of one of the twins (the one that is talking). Make a magic resistance test against the illusion. Apart from that, you do not think that they are armed and they don't have anything specific about them.

@Redjack: When not game-changing, I don't mind anyone to take such liberties. It adds to the feel and just makes the whole thing enjoyable. In some cases, it might happen that I ask you to edit something, but we'll see if it comes to that.

@Soykaf: Yep, you do have three toolkits. I wouldn't let you change starting equipment at this time, sorry. If you realise that you need some piece of gear, you now have some money to buy it and you have contacts, etc. hehe (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
