Great. Now my mind is spinning. :wobble:

Updated his description on my second posting in the IC as well as a complete overview in the first post here in the OOC thread.
Still no gear list, but that will have to wait until tomorrow.

I think you gave me too much points, like one 0 in the end is wrong ;)

Btw, you spill out all stats of a magic item before a thread is woven? I usually just give a rough idea what the new rank brings, but don't get too specific.

And how do you handle Key Knowledge? Does a char gains the specific knowledge (like: the name of the sword is Purifier) or the research knowledge (like: you need the name of the sword)?

In this case, the cretor left copius notes, specifically so that another person could use it later. Everything about the place, for example the library, has had great care taken in to making sure that it doesn't go to waste. Think of it as Athnen's legacy.

And yeah, the other '0'was a typo. Sorry, better luck next time.

Edit:Item and Weapon History seem to suggest by my understanding that the Kew Knowledge is gained.example
QUOTE (pg110)
An average succes reveals one Key Knowledge from the item's history.

Doesnt' say that it reveals what type of knowledge, just that it reveals the knowledge. Other wise learning to use a thread item would be a campaign all in and of its self for every single little one. Sounds like a huge pain to me.

We play it like I said: you get the research knowledge, not the actual Key Knowledge. It's a bit wonky written, but I can copy & paste if from the EPC later tonight.

Sure I'm open to other versions.

How does it play out? It seems as though it would be quite a pain. how's your experiences that way been?
