Dantic - Just FYI, you don't always have to repost whatever someone says to you before replying in your own IC post, only if you think it's really necessary to maintain continuity. We'll understand what/who you're referring to when you respond, and if there's any real confusion, there's always the edit button. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Yeah, never was good at "freewriting" in english comp either, I always like things to have structure. I'm writing in word, then cut n paste to forum, will try setting up just for me, then deleting reference before posting. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rotate.gif) |

(Cross posted from the Recruiting thread...)
All I would super appreciate it if people would take the initiative to add new PC's takes to their sheets so I don't have to do it (right now I just don't have the time). It's a rather large PITA to do it for the 20+ characters each and every time we bring on a new PC. I always update the master list that you can see Here (Master Takes) so you can copy and paste said new characters into your own takes whenever possible. That way you guys don't have to fiddle around with links and what not if you don't have to, they'll just copy over as is. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

Hi everybody!
I'm back in a place where I have sorta-kinda reliable internets and electricity and stuff, and looking forward to getting back in the game. Read the IC posts since I left, but really have no idea what kind of OOC stuff has happened. Workload+Internet reliability here's gonna make it a pain in the ass for me to read through 50 pages of OOC stuff and assorted other stuff - like 27 pages of new character gen and wiki and stuff. Would one of the orignal gangers be willing to donate the time to give me the reader's digest version of what OOC stuff Bockscar needs to know? I'll base my next IC post off that. Lates! ROb |

"Let me 'splain. No, there is too much. Let me sum up. Buttercup is marry Humperdinck in a little less than half an hour. So all we have to do is get in, break up the wedding, steal the princess, make our escape...after I kill Count Rogen."
Sorry, couldn't resist. |

Oh. Wow. This game changed then. And here I am dressed up in the wrong clothes. I guess that's a "no" then? not an original ganger (obviously) but it looks like currently all that you need to know is that a. youre currently on the roof of the new HQ (Kirkland city park admin building) b. legion and several others have headed west to scout out the screaming (tenatively id'd as a group called the Hunters). not much happened for you in a big way except the last 2 or 4 pages of IC. hope this helps (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) lol caught you editing (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif) |

@Vegas - thanks for the reply. I will obey all your commands, including waiting for Winter's approval on my spending.
@Winter - I know I'm a hopeless pest, but, um, now that we had a whole new event registration and everything, does that mean that now Edge refreshes????? |

@Adamu - Unfortunately event registrations do not always equal edge refreshes. We'll see how it plays out, but I have a feeling Edge isn't going to refresh often in this game.

That's cool.
The dance continues. My role is to ask at every reasonable opportunity. Yours may be to decline my request! But with all the constant GM reminders about the lethality of this game, hey, a boy's gotta try! |

Stealth roll: 10d6 → [4,5,6,3,5,4,6,2,1,6] = (5 hits)
Perception Roll 6d6 → [3,6,2,1,2,5] = (2 hits) Cuervo's heading to the park and keeping an eye open for everyone. |

Er, wait, how often does Edge refresh? How often has it refreshed in the past? Is it worth buying Edge at all, if it (almost) never refreshes? |

I hope I'm not going to be out of commision, but I picked up a very sneaky and nasty computer virus, so far it seems to be cleaned from my system, but I've also read a post from someone who had the same thing and it kept coming back on them. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/frown.gif)
Beware of anything realted to someting called ultimate cleaner or ucleaner. I picked it up from what was supposed to be a codex download, came in a .exe file which I virus scaned with Norton/Symantic, which didn't recognize it, even after it was running, norton never caught it. Ad-Aware found it on scans, but couldn't clean it from the system. The websites where the virus reroutes you, will try to remove ad-aware and spybot. So everybody be carefull. |

@Dantic
Try Avast!, it works very well concerning virus checking and removing. If you run it on a weekly basis, with ad aware, you should have a rather solid system. Thats what I've been doing for a few years now, and my computer still runs like the day I bought it. |
