OK I believe that brings me up to date with everyone who was waiting on me for something. If anyone has any questions let me know, otherwise you're all free to post.
Bearclaw - If Dantic doesn't respond to you, feel free to NPC him, since you obviously have a plan and he set up a nice situation for you to start working some crime. Pragma - I don't think I explicitly stated it, but raising Pistols to 1 has been approved. Plumbing Crew - I'm letting you guys RP out the situation per an earlier request. At such time as it's necessary to get down to the mechanics let me know and we'll work out the details. |

WR1
Baby will be going through her checklist of routes, side streets and alley ways to come up with some sort of escape route if the group needs it. Would you like me to make that roll now or later if it comes to that. She would have been doing so anyway, the whole way there. She will also be noting any cover nearby, which I will add to my IC post. |

OK, I NPC'd Twiggs. I'm hoping he'll pick it up from there, or maybe a GM, as we're gonna need one sooner or later.

Felix is switching to astral perception.
He is mainly just looking about, checking for people who might be hiding somewhere close by. |

Slipshade - No need to roll, she would have had plenty of time to do that on her way here and I presume she would have been doing so.
Bearclaw - Good post, and understood. We'll give Dantic a couple days, and if he doesn't respond, I'll get involved as a GM and NPC him, since like you said, you'll need a GM involved eventually. Side Note: I cannot believe you invoked the Bang Bus. I don't know what's worse, the fact that I knew what you were talking about, or the fact that it's a perfectly reasonable thing for you guys to do in this game. A shadowrun game with the Bang Bus...what will you all come up with next? Mister Juan - [ Spoiler ] Grendel, Mister Juan, Slipshade, Meriss - In case it needed to be said, all of the Black Plaguer's are carrying weapons of some type, mostly melee, no obvious firearms, etc. They're being polite though, and are conspicuously NOT pointing any of their weapons at you. Yet. |

No need, situation already resolved via IC post. You're up.
Since Aziz's situation is 'open' if you will, use your next post to set the direction for where you want Aziz to go from here, even if it's just continuing to sit there and let business come in. This way it's clear to me if you're waiting on me or if you'll be IC posting on your own for a bit. |

I don't think we've actually pinned it down yet, people have suggested various stuff, but no real agreement has been reached. I dunno I like, Bearclaw's suggestion of black and orange maybe if we throw in a little red?

Well, Ravens are black, October is orange... But that's the Halloweeners color, isn't it? Hmm...

Slip: It does! personally, I'd say sky blue w/ some black thing; then you get a raven on a sky. Not like gang colors have to be all dark, since it's usually an armband or bandanna or a t-shirt or something.

I was working at one point on some tags for Baby and I had put the words October Ravens in a very stylized bird shaped triangle with flames around it. My original thought was black lettering with the triangle formed in blue or purple flame, so that would work for me.

I think colors are enough. Best way to do this is have one of the characters brign up the tag/sign/color whatever IC, and then the gang more or less coalesces around the suggestion. If it doesn't happen, well, they're gang members, not the committee that writes uniform regulations.
OOC, I think the best we're going to get is more or less a plurality vote of 'that doesn't suck.' I posit that 'not sucking' is good enough for us. @WinterRat: I'll put box's condition monitor and or training time tracker up soon. Can I count sewage fixing as OJT for Industrial Mechanic (Buildings)? |

I didn't mean for that to come off as picking that as a log, it was just something fun that I was doing to pass the time one day. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Figuring it out in IC is cool too, really the deciding factor will be Legion anyway. |

I'm guessing it's about time to get to the mechanics, unless Box has waded into another unexpected conversational lacuna.
From here, goal is to find the pipe, connect it to the hq pipe, and make water go. Then we'll hike back up and look for leaks or other unexpected crap. Box has logic 4 and no relevant skills. Auto mechanics may come into play if we have to jack somebody's radiator hose to make a shunt, but that's all I can think of unless there's some clean connection. |

Okay - was going to IC Grack just getting up and starting work without a word (until he gets tired), turning some valve or something.
But a review of the crunchy post about how Winter is going to handle the dice on all that stopped me short. Apparently tools may be required (can't really argue much there). Grack certainly not venturing forth to find any in daylight! As for dice, at 6 dice confirmed, Grack has twice as many as Bockscar, so I think he should probably be the "leader" in terms of dice rolling, with others rolling teamwork. On the other hand, he may quit halfway through. And being no statistician, I am not sure how great an impact it will be that he has two less Logic than Bocks (for the "working from memory" penalty). Anyway, starting from 6 dice, here is some semi-crunchy wheedling re. mods: * If I can successfully cast Spatial Sense (extended) - which I took for assistance with sewer ops - can I get a better read on where the pipes are/go/what is in them, so as to offset some of that working from memory/without reference penalty? * I do have a flashlight, so for us orks, we should have no vision mods - so maybe that will be factored into the final decision on how terrible the conditions are.... * I would submit - most respectfully - that for Grack, the conditions are not adverse at all but perfectly normal, and there should be no penalty for bad working conditions. This is no freebie based on backstory role-playing I seek, but something I have paid heavily for in game terms - to wit, I have FIVE active or knowledge skills that deal specifically with living in the sewers. Thus endeth the wheedle. Waiting for us to make a final decision on: - tooling up/trying to get a comm connection to pull up some schematics or DIY instructions - target water quality |

For IC purposes, Thumper's tagging along so long as it's feasible. He ditched his armor in the HQ and is just wearing some street clothes.
This assumes there's someone in the HQ, if not, Thumper will hold down the fort. IC post forthcoming, a bit busy with moving nowadays. |

Oops, sorry, got a little caught up with that damn real life bs again (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rotate.gif) been scanning the boards some, but been really unable to do anything, but things should be back to normal now, and not working quite so many hours in the week, and just when things start rolling, sigh. Bearclaw seems to be on the right track, I'm fine with it, though Twiggs will try to use his, fast hands and faster mouth to avoid a beatdown. Will post in the next two days, also kind of see modern SR4 trucks as being acessed through comm like everything else, instead of keys, so would swipe it, but whatever is needed, will probably need a palming roll. |

Hey Winter and Co. I know its been about an age since i last did manage to post (IMG:style_emoticons/default/frown.gif) but i just got back from Washington D.C. and life in general and was wondering if there's any possible way I can get back in the game. If thats ok I could get a post up prob by tomorrow night or Sunday night at the latest. If it is too late however I totally understand and will read this game with much interest.
Sincerely, Spark |

Spark - WR's gone for another day or two on vacation so you might not get a reply right away. I'm gonna leave it in his hands to make any decisions one way or the other about the situation. I think I know how he wants to handle player absences, but just in case I have any part of it wrong... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

@Spark: There is that IC messsage Ink sent X. Not to mention the fact that Winter may rule you did not survive your time in the Gate between ICs. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) It's entirely possible. He's made many allusions that Kingsgate is not "Happy Fun Sunshine landTM"
